It has been for weeks. Everyone was better than Greg. He's never even been in a skate off yet. That's why I feel he's been voted for for the wrong reasons. I think he is terrific - just not in this.
The Scots fans will throw a Wooden Spoon party. We'll invite Greg, if he'll just get off DOI!

No word on the costume or the song for Gareth this week, but he did say on Entertainment Today, that he's got a Hat and a Cane as props for this weeks show. Sounding good for a Hollywood type routine to me. His speech is not too good at the moment. He's said he hasn't had time to do his breathing exercises properly, due to all the practicing for the Ice Dancing. Unfortunately this is always going to be the problem for him I'm afraid.

I'm sure though that once the show is finished he'll be putting in extra time to make up for it

I didn't realise he still had problems with his speech, thought he had conquered it. Will he always be afflicted/need to work on it?
He's reasonably OK as long as he puts in a couple hours of breathing exercises every day. But when he's very busy like he is at the moment and hasn't got the time to do that, his speech slips back again. Gareth has said himself, its not curred, he's just found a way to keep his stammer under control. It must be very frustrating for him when he gets these lapses. His speech was reasonable this morning, but you could certainly see a difference to what it was like a few weeks ago. Its such a shame and I wonder if he will ever be completely free of his problem. Somehow I doubt it :(
I noticed that last week. He was still doing well though, just not quite as fluent.

Thanks for the info, val4jadan. I'll look forward to the routine with the hat and cane.

How long after the show is the DOI tour? Will Gareth have time to work on his McGuire technique in between?

The tour starts on 4th April, so there will be about 3 weeks inbetween. From what I read on Dan Whiston's site, they're starting practice for it straight after the show finishes, so I'm not sure that Gareth will get much time off. I'm sure he'll be ok though.
Now which one will I be going too? ( nothing aghains Gareth at all)

I wish Darius good luck, I am sure he will be great. :cheer:

I bet you're just as excited about seeing Gareth perform as I am Darius. Isn't this lovely. They'll both do so well.
