There was a dress rehearsal last night. Gareth skated last and was apparently quite good

I haven't been able to see the show but I've been following it on the net. Congratulations to Gareth. He's looking very very good.

I keep getting this feeling that the media are trying hard to get at him and decrease his popularity. He can't win with them, he's either not confident enough or too confident. I thought he did well this week.

Don't know if any of you still read OK Mag ( I don't usually), but there's a huge interview in there this week with Gareth and Suzanne, talking about their plans for their future. I'm probably a bit biased, but its a lovely frank interview :heart:

 

I never thought Gareth would do an interview like this, but I suppose they thought they would print something anyway, so it may as well be the truth :lol:

 

I'll look out for it. It'd be nice to see a positive article

I watched the first week and thought he did very well.

 

I couldn't stand all the bits before each dance.....my heart kept lurching when they fell.

 

I'll keep updated with Gareth but I don't think it's my kind of show.

They seem to put the worst skaters through. The two who stand out as bad don't even get in the skate off. It lessens the program.

I think Gareth is doing really well. The funny thing is, my mum no longer likes him. She couldn't resist the shy, stammering boy. I keep telling her that he's all grown up now and should be more confident. She was seeing the banter as him having a go at his partner rather than someone with sisters doing a bit of tormenting.

I did watch Gareth this week....although I missed the practise clips

 

He's doing ok.....a little stiff but he managed the lifts very well.

 

 

Far better than I could do....takes me all my time to stand up!

And that's without skates. Could be the drink though.

Well, with you around, we'd know that, wouldn't we? Was it the alcahol that was stopping you being able to stand then? Remember, I have the pic of you and the bottles.

I saw a bit of tonight's programme. Gareth looks brilliant. I'm looking forward to seeing the show tomorrow.
