June 18, 200718 yr I think Gareth will be higher, maybe no4? no Mel C, Editors, Chemical Brothers and Simon Webbe? and in the albums i think White Stripes and Enrique Iglesias albums are out this week.
June 18, 200718 yr Who's this Lee Mead?? I've seen it doing well on I-tunes aswell but I've got no idea where does it come from! Surprised for Gareth :o Thought it would flop hugely on downloads!

Lee Mead won Any Dream Will Do, to find a new West End Joseph so they are releasing the tittle track from the show
June 18, 200718 yr Anyone know how much they're charging for that Lee mead single? it's for CIN and they're usually 3.99. :o
June 18, 200718 yr Lee Mead won Any Dream Will Do, to find a new West End Joseph so they are releasing the tittle track from the show Oh ok thanks, haven't heard of this show... Is this a old song then? And what is a West End Joseph lmao?
June 18, 200718 yr Author Oh ok thanks, haven't heard of this show... Is this a old song then? And what is a West End Joseph lmao? Yes its a cover, Jason Donovan originally recorded it, Joseph is a West End Musical
June 18, 200718 yr I thought Madonna - Hey You was a limited free download release weeks ago. :o Nope it was added to i-tunes and other places 2 weeks ago. :w00t:
June 18, 200718 yr Nope it was added to i-tunes and other places 2 weeks ago. :w00t: Will it get then also a physical release?
June 18, 200718 yr Author Will it get then also a physical release? As as far as I know its only available as a download release
June 18, 200718 yr Lee Mead's single is £2.99 in HMV and £2.97 in Sainsbury's. It is record of the week in HMV. The three finalists on Any Dream Will Do sing Close Every Door as well on the CD and it is magnificent. :cheer: I don't think there is any point in getting anxious about your particular favourite as Lee's single is a one off. The programme was extremely popular and he was a well-deserved winner with a fantastic voice and very appealing personality. A lot of people will be buying the single I don't doubt. I don't think, however, that it will stay in the charts for ages. I would just like to add that I cannot believe that people have never heard of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat". Most schools have performed it at one time or another. Also the programme (and the winner) has appeared in practially every newspaper and television news programme over the past week or so. June 18, 200718 yr Author I've got a funny feeling Paul Potts winner of Britain's Got Talent might make a chart appearance with 'Nessun Dorma' on downloads

LOL yeah but everyone on here isn't living in the UK. I could talk you about extremly famous French TV shows or musicals that you've probably never heard of :P
June 18, 200718 yr When I saw your St George's flag under your name I assumed you were living in England. Confusing, isn't it?
June 18, 200718 yr I bought Lee Mead's single today. He really does have a beautiful voice. :cheer: Close Every Door is excellently sung too - each voice quite distinctive. :cheer: The single is a nice one off keepsake for fans of the show and hopefully will make some money for Children in Need. I know Lee is a musical theatre performer and not intending to be a record chart artist but I am hoping he will do an album of songs that he sang on the show and also a sound track album for the new Joseph musical.
June 18, 200718 yr I think there may be an album of songs from the musicals out at some point. I think he has to be careful what he agrees to, because he could lose some credibility if he suddenly appears to want to be a recording star, which is daft, but it could happen anyway. I'm indifferent to his version of Any Dream Will Do, but I would be interested in hearing other material from him. You can buy the Jason Donovan Joseph album in Woolies in their cheap albums section. I bought Gareth's Angel on my Shoulder today. I'd love him to go top 10, but we'll have to wait and see. Most people seem to say they much prefer it to Changes, but not being the first single, it's not had as much attention, and promotion seems to be geared towards the album, which is how it should be. I'm very interested to see how Take That will do. Promotion for I'll Wait For Life seems so low key by comparison to Patience and Shine, but they have quite a solid hard-core of fans who I'm sure will want to add this to their collection. :)
June 18, 200718 yr Singles 01 Lee Mead - Any Dream Will Do 02 Take That - I'd Wait For Life 08 Gareth Gates - Angel On My Shoulder 32 Madonna - Hey You  Albums 02 Calvin Harris - I Created Disco No White Stripes  Is it out this week  I was in Woolworths this dinnertime: White Stripes are the #1 album, while Enrique Iglesias is #4 (i think). On the singles front - Editors are #9
June 18, 200718 yr In my Woollies, Gareth was at No. 9! Lee at No. 1 and the Editors were about 8 I think.
