On This Day In Beatles History

I'm looking on posting daily 3 to 5 interesting facts as to what The Beatles got up to on this date in history.

My sources are the books "The Beatles: 10 Years That Shook The World" by Ted Smart & "The Beatles : After The Break-up 1970-2000" by Keith Badman.
