I know Jamelia is doing other stuff like her own make up/creams range for Boots but does anyone know if any record labels have been interested in signing her? Because J did say she wants to release an album late this year.

I was just listening to 'Walk With Me' and still can't get over the fact why it did so badly. :(

It has always been one of my most favourite albums ever!

Anyway's...any news then?

Would be a BIG loss to any label that didn't consider signing her because she has been very successful in the past.

I was just thinking that they really should have launched J in the US when they had the chance to because I know for a fact 'Superstar' and 'Thankyou' could do really well there, and even her new stuff.

Oh well, hopefully she can crack the states in the future. ^_^

But surely youre all only saying that because Alesha hasnt had success yet? Remember shes only released 2 singles and not even a debut album yet...and J wasnt exactly successful with Drama.

AND Alesha was a huge success as the most popular member of Misteeq.

:P

It was alright ^_^ i really liked the ending of the first version though and then they swopped it with a rap :(

jamelia is also doing that business recruitment thing and another show where she's judging folk. i can't remember the exact details.

i'm sure she's in talks with record labels, but she can't sign anything until her current contract expires.

i'm not sure. sir alan sugar and the glorious diva hunt for new business talent. it should be pretty soon though, i would imagine.

news just in......

A TRIO of teenybopper rockers have won the T-Factor talent contest.

Greenwich Theatre hosted the finals of Trust Thamesmead's X-Factor spin-off, where 12-year-old rock group Audio Hawk triumphed.

They will go on to support pop singer Jamelia for a crowd of over 20,000 in the Trust Thamesmead Summer Festival, Birchmere Park, Thamesmead, on July 14.

Drummer Sean Folayan said: "We are going to put a lot of practice in between now and then.

"I think we will be scared but we'll enjoy it - our music is all about having fun and feeling good."

Eleven acts including solo singers, dance, and comedy acts, were judged by a panel including X-Factor finalist, Nikitta Angus.
