I am WAY late to this discussion since I've been on vacation, but I just wanted to comment about this:

 

 

Oh sorry people, but I really am going to lay my life on the line here, and say nope that is not Robbie.

 

Why? because today I listened to Robbie's vocals, and I mean really listened and he does not have any vebrato to his vocals at all, not one tremor..this singer has quite a noticable vebrato, so unless Robbie's voice has changed radically I would say its not Robbie singing.

 

I will of course apologise and say I am wrong if I am..and will eat my hat while you are watching lol.. :rolleyes:

 

I totally agree and was going to say the same thing! Rob doesn't have a vibrato in his voice like the singer is "Lost". In minute bits it kinda sorta sounds like him, but there is no way he would change his voice that much just for a song. And i don't like it....

Dazzleland..You know I am beginning to come around to your way of thinking as well.....I have now listened to LOST loads of times & even though I had initially though it was Rob singing the first verse I now think that it's not actually him at all.

I was listening to IC on the way home from work & that voice is nothing like Rob's.....I guess I was just fooled for a while...

 

So here goes...It is NOT him at all......stupid me for even thinking it was him in the first place......

I am so relieved that you think I am not going mad Dazzleland, Robbie has never had a vibrato, never ever, sorry Scotty, I agree parts of the song could be him, but not some other bits, in places that singer has a distictive vibrato.

 

I won't eat a big hat if I am wrong, and I know a vocalist can develop a vibrato as they get older, but Robbie so far has never ever had one. (yet) :mellow:

 

I hope we do get to know.

Ok. Scotty...say it is Rob on the first verse ( here we go again ) ....when was it recorded ...ages ago as part of a demo & some sound guy or other have got there hands on it & done some fiddling about at home......

 

A friend of mine has told me that a lot of the bootleg stuff that you get at private sales is stuff taken by such guys & then put on a CD & sold.....have you ever heard this.

 

The track is good but I just feel that there is some t*** out there having a laugh at our expense............it's too obvious to be RW & also the fact that we now have a ridiculous Bond track ( that is a heap of S***E BTW )... :w00t:

The voice is very deap on Assasan, like on Sin. I take it you don't like it deap Tessat :P

 

I am not fond of the song either. It's just not Rob, he would not waste valuable recording time in a studio singing that way below average $h!t. No way! It sorta reminds me of the Bond Spoof theme he did, "A Man for all seasons", Only difference is, that was actually decent.

 

It was posted that a new and improved version of Lost would appear sometime on the 25th, which is today. So there is 20 minutes left for it to appear. Hopfully it will and then it may be clearer if it's him or not.

Robbie does have vibrato in his voice....just listen again to 'we are the champions'!!

As for these songs being robbie....

 

With 'lost' I'm not positive...?

With 'Assassin' I think not!

With 'Killer Queen' I think so!!!! ^_^

i agree its Robbie, but he can definately sing it better...am sure this is just a relaxed demo version or something

@Jupiter - Vibrato is a musical effect, produced in singing, kind of a regular a pulsating change of pitch. Its more or less used to add expression n vocal like qualities to singing!!!!! http://www.heathersanimations.com/Music/korasu.gif
