I quite like this, but it's not even close to the standards of some of their older material!

Radio1 have totally ignored this as well.

When did they become such a fanbase only band?

Who knows, but I just don't think the current market is really suited to Ash. All the indie that seems to be in at the moment is all new wave from the past 3 years or so, well on the whole at least.

It's their last ever conventional single.

Oh, and the promo has a superb built-in pulsing light.

think Andrew Collins might be right with his comment of fireworks bands in the word this month, about how there's so many indie bands getting success now that there "is a glut of credible bands who enjoy disproportionate success with their debut albums but may struggle to keep the blue tourchpaper lit as indie fans turn out to be as fickle as pop fan and wander off to something new" leaving older acts to have these two week wonders of a record that charts at 16 than goes to 44 the next week. However seeing as they are with Moz and Depeche they are in good company (wont say anything about Gaz Gates  )

They've generally left very long gaps between albums - the new one will be only their fifth proper studio album in 15 years. That leaves plenty of time for the less loyal fan to find other favourites. Some of us have remained loyal for the whole 15 years though

Listened to it today - when did they turn into Keane? No wonder nobody likes this.
Loved You Can't Have It All but Polaris is seriously poor!

agreed, not liking this at all, but im not a huge fan of theirs, just the odd single!!
