Posted June 20, 200718 yr Live Earth London bill finalised 19 June 2007 - 18:35:55 Source: Music Week Organisers of Live Earth have confirmed the final line-up for the London concert with Metallica, Kasabian, Pussycat Dolls and Terra Naomi set to join the line up at Wembley Stadium on July 7. The London concert, which will also boast performances by Beastie Boys, Madonna, Snow Patrol and the Black Eyed Peas, forms a key part of the 24-hour Live Earth concert series which will begin in Sydney, Australia on July 7, 2007 and continue across seven continents with events in Tokyo, Japan; Shanghai, China; Istanbul, Turkey; Johannesburg, South Africa; London, United Kingdom; Hamburg, Germany; and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, before concluding in New York, United States. Following their performance an exclusive download of Metallica’s Live Earth performance is going to be available for a minimal fee immediately after the event finishes. All money raised will benefit four climate charities hand-selected by the band: Sierra Club, The Apollo Alliance, WWF and Rainforest Action Network. Lars Ulrich of Metallica says, "I love my sons. I want them to ‘inherit the Earth’ for real! We keep waiting for future generations to solve the problems; to invent cleaner technology; to pay the costs, that's the same as passing the buck. I want the buck to stop here, now. I want lawmakers and laws to impose change. Nothing else will keep this world safe for my sons." June 21, 200718 yr Drowned Madonna has been informed that the Confessions Tour dancers will perform with Madonna at London's Live Earth concert on July 7. Unfortunately, Mihran Kirakosyan, Jason Young and Reshma Gajjar won't be able to make it. They are on tour with Ricky Martin and they have a show on that same day. Furthermore, if things don't change, Parkour practioners will NOT perform with her. UPDATE: Unfortunately, we have just heard that also Tamara Levinson will NOT be able to make the Live Earth. We will miss her! We remind you that there's still the possibility that other dancers will be added to the list of those who can't make it.
