Thanks for taking the trouble to post your views Jackie with which I totally agree.

Not sure about the cabaret circuit. Think Will is often misquoted. Journalists just don't seem to get his tongue in cheek humour. :P

Fantastic banner by the way.

Indeed it is a fab banner Jackie. Quite partial to a bit of Robbie, and am off to see him on September 18th :cheer:

Not sure I can see Will going down the cabaret circuit but he has talked about doing a one off thing that sounds like a cabaret type show so maybe that's what caused the confusion, you know what the press are like <_<

Thanks for your comments. It's nice to hear how others view Will :)

I think everyone is of the same opinion that Shayne needs to break from Cowell & Walsh if he's to have a lasting career. Just one problem, how the hell is he supposed to do that? Cowell & Walsh are hand in glove, of one mind as to their idea of a pop star. Their ideas are dated and based entirely around the success they've had with Westlife and the Swedish music factory.

The only way he'll get away from them is if THEY don't want him anymore, if he starts to fail. Success will see him tied in tighter than a nuns corset. He's in a no win situation. If he sells like Westlife, he gets no respect from anyone, if he doesn't, he won't have a career. The one thing he certainly won't have, is his own choice in his future.

As Will said, he can't make a straight video, and in the past, he's done the alternatives, walking on the beach on his own, straight to camera and a dance one. He's now developing a reputation for some very unique & quirky videos and anything that is different is bound to cause a reaction and provoke opinion. Love 'em or hate 'em, they get noticed and that can't be a bad thing :D

But aren´t the most sucessful artists in UK always the ones who don´t cause polemic and are always nice, like James Blunt, Dido, Norah Jones???

Sorry but I hope my next comment doesn't offend. The artists you have mentioned are indeed very successful but for me very bland which equates to boring. I do have Norah Jones' album, liked it at first but soon tired of it & now never play it. Give me the quirkiness & individuality of India Arie any day over Dido & Norah Jones.

James Blunt I'm just indifferent too.
