I've liked lots of females. Some of them are from my Mum (and grandmothers) collection. I love Peggy Pea, Billie Holliday and Janis Joplin - but loads of others as well

Again they didn't screech , so I could listen to any of them ..............also Eartha Kitt, Shirley Bassey and another from the sixties , Helen Shapiro.

 

I like KT Tunstall of the modern girls.

I like KT. She stood out even before she was famous.

Her music is more important to her than her image.

I hope that carries on to be the case. I'd hate the powers that be, to try and change her into what she isn't. I get mixed up with some of the irls in the media beause they end up looking so alike.

And then they're copied. A Saturday walk on the high street is like a stroll among the same batch of androids. They're dressed similarly and almost indistinguishable at a glance.

 

I've always preferred individuals. I think that's what first attracted me to D, other than his voice of course.

It was his voice and then his carng personality that attrcted me. It still is.

I was just drawn to him, he just stood out and then when he sang :wub:

 

He is very caring and a gentleman.

He once said that he spends a great part of his life trying to help others. But, he never says what he does and it's only chance that you find out he's done it. Others do far less and their pr make a great play of it.

He does it because he feels it's right and would hate to use it for publicity

So why do you think he got so much bad press.

I've no idea. Most people just don't know what he's like. On top of that, Popstars was edited to make him out to be someone he isn't, although anyone who watched it and had half a brain should have been able to see through the edits. If it wasn't for that, I'd probably not supported him the way I do. But, for me, it was an unacceptable thing to do to a caring 19 year old, trying to ruin his future for their own gains.

 

He still doesn't have a bad word to say about any of it. He puts it all down to his lack of experience and hopes he'll know better now, 7 years on.

It's not so much what happened back then but it's the continuing will to do him down at every stage possible, the constant downgrading or silence/denial about every positive/successful move he makes and the attempts to stymie him practically as soon as he steps off the plane, which I don't understand.

 

Sometimes it seems like there are some influential people whose clients don't want the spotlight to play on D at all.

As long as he succeeds in the end. I find it so hard to accept that we have enough home grown talent for us to keep rying to destroy one of them

makes you wonder if they are afraid of him

Sometimes I suspect some people in 19's court are complicit in it all and I think Darius should break with them completely, but then I wonder if all their guns would be trained against him and he'd be even worse off.

Well, he's still here and still delighting people who knew nothing a bout him. Little by little, he's getting there.
