Ok i included Jlo and Mariah cos I think they have done a lot of R&B music, and even though they started as pop artists, they have been doing R&B for years and are still doing R&B music (excluding Jlo's recent spanish album...). I didnt include Jojo, Xtina, Justin and Samantha Mumba though, think they're pop artists that have certain songs that R&B influenced, not enough to make them R&B artists imo - if you say that they are R&B artists to any R&B fan they'll laugh in your face.

Done mine, I wasn't sure if Nelly Furtado was, so I didn't put her on :D

I think its fair to say that if youre not sure about an artist, think how many of their albums has had R&B/soul influences, and if its half or more, include them!

 

Nelly has had 3 albums but only one has been very R&B so probs best not to include her :D
