I'm not sure sure how it'd work as a single tbh. I think it'd still go Top10 and I think it might shift alot of albums as well, but I was hoping for 505 as the next single. :(

I know exactly what you mean. I love the song, but is it single material? I'm not so sure tbh, I mean I can imagine it being played on Radio1, and I think the video would be ACE, but I thinl there's much better choices for singles.

It IS single material but in comparison there are several tracks which would be received far better by the public - Teddy Picker, D Is For Dangerous, The Bad Thing and Balaclava spring to mind.

 

Still I think it'll easily get top 10, just for the artist on the record. Let's hope so anyway ...

Every track on the album could go on a single release, but I wouldn't have picked up that one personally.

I'm still sceptical over whether or not this is gonna be the 3rd single tbh, I mean I have no idea whatsoever where this has come from as i've not seen any other mention of this being the next single apart from here. Saying that though Old Yellow Bricks has been used in a few advertising campaigns and they played it along with Brianstorm when they were promoting in the USA, so who knows.

 

If this is to be the 3rd single though, I think the video would be great. :lol: I can see them dressing up as Wizard of Oz characters again like they did for the Brit awards. :lol:

D Is For Dangerous got a lot of airplay when the album came out so I had assumed it was a future single. 505 would also be a good choice. Does anyone know the right people to get Diamonds Are Forever included on it?

Nope sorry, but I imagine if you e-mailed Domino or something they might put it as a future B-side or something, well if there's enough hype and talk for it to be a B-side.

i didnt expect to see it as their next single n still i m not sure if they are gonna release it.

its an amazing track n represents great the second part of the album.

(personally i prefer the amazing Teddy Picker as their 3rd single , even D is for Dangerous could be a more obvious choice but thesew guys seems to make it always with their own way.)

If it's not 505 I'd personally be VERY suprised myself, Teddy Picker should be the fourth one too.

I've listened to Old Yellow Bricks of late and i'm REALLY sure it's a perfect choice for a single.

This is apparently being released on 8th October now, although there's no confirmation yet.

 

But the date looks about right for when it should be released. Hopefully the B-sides and the video shall be good for this. ^_^
