yeah i agree... now all Delta does is get put in the tabloids, she hardly even seems like a singer anymore. It's been three years since mistaken identity, which wasn't a great album anyway. How hard is it to record an album? Her fans are dropping like flies from her message board.

I Half agree, i prefer mistaken identity but she doesn't feel like a singer anymore... she feels like brian mcFAGens Gf... and before anyone goes omg homophobe i'm gay and joking :lol:

I sort of agree, aswell. I much prefer MI to IE, but I'm desperate for a new album from Delta! It's been too long!

To be honest i'm quite happy waiting, i find MI and IE classic albums that i just do not get sick of at all...But i agree about the tabloid thing with Delta in the UK, Detla is NOT mentioned without Brian, it's like Delta and Brian are literally stuck at the hip, i do presume they send some time apart?!

I'm not happy waiting. It's a slap in the face to all of her fans that she hasn't had an album out... people think she doesn't care. I guess they're right. What has she done from 06-07? 05 was wasted promoting or not promoting released singles from Mistaken Identity. 06? Together we are one, another anthem. And maybe a clothing line... big deal. 07? Nothing.

Jack- love your siobhan sig... now she's a real artist and she has to fight to release her CDs!! Everything's so backwards. Are you in the UK? You'll be able to buy those new Itunes tracks!! So lucky!

i dont miss her :P im sorta over her at the moment, ive listened to her songs so much that i just skip her everytime my ipod does shuffle.

i still love her though and cant wait for the album :P

No offence, but i hate when people say this...for one thing, we know she's done so much more than that...and secondly, she has done so much more than we will ever know or be allowed know, people talk as if she doesn't care (isn't she posting on her forum, isn't she still meeting fans and reasurring us the album is on the way) she does care, an album doesnt happen over night, but in 3 years she has done alot, and an album this year may have been a long wait but granting all her events over the last few years, we lucky its going to be out this year...

I agree ... when you think that Delta had been working solidly for god knows how many years until late 2005, I'd have probably packed in for good, never mind a two year break. There WILL be another album, and Delta is well within her rights to have a break if she wants one IMO.

As long as the album we get is amazing then I really don't mind waiting. :D

Yeah i live in the uk but didn't know about the extra siobhan songs on ITunes... can't you buy ITunes Uk credit and buy them? and yeah i agree i always skip when they are one shuffle now... only 'cos i'v heard them so much :lol:

we must remember delta had no break in between innocent eyes and mistaken identity. during ie she was doing neighbours and promoting HEAPS and going to uk etc. then she got cancer and had to get better, went to the arias and wrote mi. during the later stages of mi delta was in the uk a lot. she only really had one week off and that was watching mark at the aussie open.

 

then mi was out. she was here there and everywhere. then her and mark split. so she canned prom for out of the blue. and indeed the album itself. she then was with brian for ages promoting almost here. they had a weekend in africa or something for a break as well.

 

Then came visualise that needed a lot of work and then the concert time itself. then came the afl grand final. there was also a new recording for lost without you. she was in north shore. and tried for months and months to crack the us. she ended up pulling the album but still she got to experience how hard the marked is and got to meet key figures in the us music industry. so 05 was almost here, america, visualise and then america again.

 

06 delta wrote together we are one for the commonwealth games. she said how hard it was to write the right song. she canned lots she wrote. plus there was the recording of it and the grand performance. she was also jetting around the world writing for this new album. america-australia-london etc. travel alone is a large chunk.

 

then came japan and the release of innocent eyes. with the newly recorded 'flawed' and 'never fades away' she was there for a while and then travelled to and fro tokyo and london. she really did well in breaking into japan.

 

then she came back to australia and sang three songs at carols and co hosted the event. she had a few weeks holiday with her family (which also included countless interviews)

 

also in 06 she recorded 'stepping out with my baby' and 'all out of love' did the video for flawed and sang all out of love on x factor uk.

 

in 07 she has been going all over to finish the writing of the album and to begin recording.

 

 

who knows what i have left out but she has been busy. oh yeh and there were lots of her undie releases (which requires deltas input for design etc) and her new pj range

 

there have been rumours of delta in a tv show. so there would be time for discussions about this (i think it may be grey's anatomy, since delta has been talking about it a lot) Plus i think the US label wants a new sound from delta so she would have to work on this when writing songs and recording them in the studio.

 

and yes i am sick of deltas songs as well. im excited for a new album. im only sick of them because i have listened to them soooooooooo many times. i will be right once the new stuff comes out, then i will be able to reconnect

Yes lol and when you think about it she has done alot.. just not in the british public eye...

I am not sick of Delta's songs yet. Always get excited when they come up on shuffle :P! Guess I haven't listened to them as much as some of you! ;)
