We already have a Single chart thread and an Album chart thread, so I think this one is a bit pointless as it would just repeat what's being reported there.

in the first set of midweeks this week Girls Aloud hold no top 40 positions,so i hope out of control at worst will remain top 45 come sunday

Some updates;

The Promise {1}-2-3-6-7-10-15-20-19-14-15-25-37-42-46-50-58-39-41->19

The Loving Kind 38-46-39-29-{10}-14-24-29-38-43-54->11

There are no singles remaining in the top 50 by the girls this week but in the album chart

out of control drops 4 places to number 32

greatest hits climbs 5 places to number 64

after the promise's great success i am very disappointed with the loving kind. it deserved much more sales and a top 5 peak and this did not happen and a bad reflection of what is one of their best songs to date
omg i just heard Love Is The Key on Shipwrecked.
Promise down to 59 and Loving Kind down to 71....but both still top 75! :)
The Promise would thoroughly deserve that record. Its by far the best girls aloud song for me and it almost is their best seller, if only the average sound of the underground did not do so well......

average sound?

Sound of the Underground is the reason why GA are GA, if a song weaker than that had been released, they wouldnt have made it to the second album.

Sales show

SOTU is bar far their best single for me.
SOTU is by far their worst single for me, so boring and bland compared to the other singles. Quite weird that its their most successful single when its one of their worst
yes but that's just a matter of opinion, and the only reason why it has sold so much is because it's their winning song.
I'm glad it's their winning song and by my personal preference I think each lead single has bettered from SOTU.
In the charts this week, The Promise is up to 56 and The Loving Kind is at 81 :cheer:
