What are your top five favorite Elvis movies at the moment (not including his documentaries)? Right now, mine are:

 

1) Jailhouse Rock

2) King Creole

3) Change of Habit

4) Flaming Star

5) Viva Las Vegas

Have to say, my faves are similar to yours. I love King Creole and Jailhouse Rock, probably followed by Viva Las Vegas, then Change Of Habit and Blue Hawaii. I have to confess, though, that I'm more into the music than the films. My fave era has to be late 60s - early 70s. I love the music he made at American Sound Studios. Is there any particular time you like best?

I think Elvis had his best movies and songs in the 50's (before his military service), but from 1968 until his death in 1977, he had a better voice.

 

And about his movies, sometimes I like them for the music, sometimes for the movie itself. Some movies like Harum Scarum and Double Trouble had great music, but were horrible films. The ones I posted above had some of my favorite Elvis songs and I liked them as movies as well.
