Will be another flop. The album will not reach its potential without the release of 'Black Butta' - just look at the hype it had after she performed it on Jools Holland. Such a waste.

That hype came about because of Bev's performance and energy, not because of the song! ATALOL would be a LOT better than Black Butta -_- And Queen is nice too, it shows another side to Bev's vocals.

The hype was the song! Jools Holland was so impressed he said that the lyrics and the melody were some of the best he had ever heard. The energy could'nt have come without the song in the first place.

 

But wheres the source for this anyway?

Hmm -_- im not sure tbh most songs to me on Music City Soul seem to me as album tracks the only song on it to me that stands out which could do well as a single is "After You" :( hate to admit that but i think its true

I kind of agree...I think NML had potential but not as lead single, AY has potential and ATALOL has potential.

 

Queen is a soul CLASSIC and on those grounds im saying its a good choice, but it may well flop.

 

The rest are just not suited for releases at all, but then that doesnt make them bad - just not as commercial.

I agree ^_^ shame really with an extra oomph i think they all would make good commercial singles

But I like that they dont ^_^ I think its different to Affirmation where so many songs - Tea & Sympathy, Till I See Ya, Straight Jacket - couldve made great singles.
