Lady Marmalade

This sexy song was firstly recorded by LaBelle in 1974, and was a huge hit. This song had been covered multiple times, but only had one other big succes. That was when Pink, Christina Aguilera, Lil' Kim and Mya re-recorded this song for the Moulin Rouge soundtrack. It was released as the soundtrack's first single. This version did much better then Labelle's. This one peaked at #1 in 15 countries, including the U.S, the U.K, Sweden, Australia and much more. The song was top 3 in 5 countries including the Netherlands, Austria and Belgium. The music video features all four performers in lingerie and was filmed at the Moulin Rouge itself. The video won the MTV Video Music Award for "Best Video of the Year" and "Best Video from a Film"; it was also nominated for "Best Dance Video", "Best Pop Video", "Best Choreography" (Tina Landon), and "Best Art Direction". The song won a 2002 Grammy Award in the category of "Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals". It ranks #30 on MuchMusic's 100 Best Videos.
So, great succes for a GREAT song.
The thing I love about the song is the sexyness in it. The video is amazing aswell, and bloody hot :kink:

Split Personality

 

This is almost my fave song from Can't Take Me Home. I really love the lyrics to this, they're fun and kinda true :lol:

The song is featured in the 2001 film The Princess Diaries. So, it did get some recognition as it deserves. It's a really fun song.

I especially LOVE the performance of this song on the Try This tour. Love the whole mirror thing.

And the lyrics are just sooo good :wub: But a bit sad though "Can you help me? Does anybody hear me? Can they even see me? This is my reality. "

Really, this should have been a single. Much underrated song. Shame!

Split Personality is definitely one of the few highlights of Can't Take Me Home. I bought the album and was incredibly disappointed with it but Split Personality caught my attention.

 

I also really love Lady Marmalade. I feel all four vocalists do a great job but it is Christina Aguilera who makes the song what it is. P!nk doesn't have a big part.

 

Oh and the Stupid Girls video cracks me up everytime I see it. Easily her best video, its just the song that lets it down.

 

Just noticed Trouble as well. It is a shame that Trouble is so low because it is my favourite P!nk song. By far my favourite song from Try This which is my favourite P!nk album. I have listened to it so much, I can resite pretty much all the words.
