I quite like the tongue-in-cheek lyrics of both Rushes and Incredible, both of which he recorded with the Matrix in LA. I think they're good pop songs and Darius always seems to enjoy performing them live. I wonder if he's done any more songs with them this time - maybe not, if he's so determined to change his sound.

Now, I have to go and listen to KWAF. Just as well I've still got it on my desktop.

He's doing quite a bit with the Misfits. They do such a wide range of sounds according to the artist they're working with, that it doesn't give many clues to how the tracks will sound.

I'm glad he is, because they give him the time to really craft his songs and they are very talented and creative people who seem to love what they do.

I'm listening to Save Love just because I love it.

As do I. The Misfits know how talented he is - and the way they work together shows a mutual respect.
It's been as bright as the rest of the week but, I doubt the temperature went up to 15. Still, shouldn't complain when it's November

I had to listen to Journey's End again. It always makes me desperately sad when I think about how tough it was for Darius when he wrote it.

It's still emotional but I find it helps if I visualize Darius as he was when I last saw him in Edinburgh, when I play it.

I thik back to Merchant City. The first time his dad was allowed out of hospital. It may have meant a shortened set but, I've never seen him happier.
