It's good to have them but, I wish they were complete.

I'm trying to calm down listening to Chrysalis to get over the shock of an unexpected large quote for my share of repairs to the common roof.

 

I wish my neighbour had told me and the other two owners that she was going to ask the factor to check the roof. I might have been semi-prepared.

 

oh BT you have my sympathy, unexpected bills are the worst.

Every time I'm feeling great, thinking I've got all my finances sorted, something like this drops on to the mat. Pride goes beforte a fall, they say.

 

I've only spoken to one of my neighbours and she's pretty much in shock too. I'll try to speak to the other 2 tomorrow .

I'm having one of those weeks as well, BT. I wonder why she didn't pass her worries on to the other people affected first? Most of us don't have much in reserve.

Surely you should all have been consulted about work needed and who would be best to do the repairs.

I think I'd be paying in instalments as it was unexpected and no consultation.
