I've just been watching the youtube "Teddy Bear". I wish Des'd let Darius sing a bit of Wonder Of You instead of declan.

I just didn't see what Declan had done to warrant him singing the best part of 2 songs, while Darius got a measly 2 lines to speak from TWOY and into the bargain Des came in too soon and spoiled the effect of those.

Apart from that it's still good fun to watch.

Come to think of it, I haven't listened to Sandy for ages. I'm not even sure where my copy of Greasemania is. Is Sandy from the show on .net at all?

The first version of 'Freefall' follow2ed by the Farewell song, now 'Chrysalis to Butterfly'. They seem so long ago now.
I just  the farewell song. It was this song and D's courage in facing his rejection that hooked me to him. I still can't believe even now that I didn't realise how much I liked him or what he meant to me until he got cut from Popstars :o

Obviously D stood out, but with them portraying him in a slightly arrogant manor(which I feel was probably done afterwards once they realised he wasn't going to make the band) I honestly didn't realise it was mainly him I was tuning in to watch.

I even remember when he got cut, calling through to Lyn excitedly in the kitchen to let her know. For a few seconds, I was pleased and I have no idea why, but after that I felt a sense of dissappointment which just grew stronger and stronger in the remaining few minutes of the show, which included the farewell song. People were crying because he didn't go through.

I didn't like how Noel seemed really smug whilst supposedly comforting some of the upset people  Then the next day he took the mick again by mocking D's accent  Hearsay, more like Heretodaygonetomorrow :D I do admit to  Myleene though :)

It was his concern for those around him, genuine and before his own problems which made me value him even more as a person. The 'Farewell' song just wanted to get an album of his own tracks. I'm afraid that both those feelings are still there.
Yes, the group formed by the show did split up but after 7 years, four of that group are still successful entertainers. Danny may be too but I don't know what he is doing.
