Well exactly what it says on the tin :o

I first heard of this band when I joined internet forums in 2005 and everybody was raving about their album 'Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge'. I never knew they had an album prior to that until last year which I purchased alongside 'The Black Parade'.

I think people that put them down and say they're c**p need to f*** off plainly because they're one of those bands that really put a lot of thought into the lyrics and if you understand and feel the words and what the song is about, it can help you through a load of $h!t. I fell in love with 'I'm Not Okay' and have been a fan ever since and in a way I was thrilled they got a UK #1 single last year and are now doing so well but in another way not so

After hearing the brilliant Welcome To The Black Parade, I bought the Black Parade album which was so good it persuaded me to buy Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge which is another great album
Never liked there early stuff, back then I wasnt a fan of there type of genre. But I got really into the Black Parade and then got there album and it started all there.

Their latest album introduced me to them, before that they were some obscure emo band my sister liked, and she never liked decent music so I avoided them  I liked 'Welcome To The Black Parade', LOVED 'I Don't Love You' and now like 'Teenagers'. Graham then kindly sent me 'Helena' and 'I'm Not Okay' which are also OK.

I'm not sure if I class as fan but there we go.

live WITH that bbz. :P

Anyway must you follow me everywhere leaving a trail of spam? -_-

Well, I didn't care too much for their singles from the last album. They weren't bad. Then their new singles started to wear on me and I started to get into them more. Now I really like listening to all their singles from The Black Parade but I really haven't listened to any of their other tracks. :kink: My friends are really into MCR too so I suppose that helped me get into them a lil more. ^_^

I don't know am I a fan, but I love some of their songs. ^_^ So, I'll tell how it all started. :P

First time I when saw them, was in video Welcome To The Black Parade. I was shocked by song, because it's very different, and didn't like it at first. Then I saw it again and again and again and I started to love it. But, song which made me to search for their other songs, was I Don't Love You, which I also didn't like at first listening. After three, or four times, watching great video, I was in love with it.

After that, I love more their songs. :D So, that's it. ^_^

Saw Helena one day on the telly and just kept listening to the song over and over again. Then got their first two albums a couple of years ago. Absolutley love the black parade album but Helena is still my fave song of theirs :cheer:

The question should be how did you stop being a fan:

Simple answer, they were better with their earlier releases, i bought the new album thinking it would be like the last but was horrified to find it was so much more popier, commerical and radio friendly and nothing like their previous. It worsened when the usal people jumped on the bandwagon and MCR became more or less a sell out. It's embarassing the likes of a britney spears fans would like them.

I bet that out of the 400,000 albums they have sold, only around 50-100k people actually liked them before and at least half of them hate their new direction.

Worse Christmas present i have recieved.

Saying I'm a fan would be too much. Graham send me 2 songs and that was the first time I ever heard of them.

After a few listens I really started to like them :o I don't love you and I'm not Ok.

I searched for video's on YouTube and the one on top was "Famous last words" Love the beginning of it.

Songs like Teenagers, Helena and The Black Parade I liked aswell. The clips are definitely something else too.

So next time I'm gonna hit the town I will have a look in the shops for their albums ^_^ Hope the're on sale though B)
