DEL'S US HELL IS OVER

OH, dear. All those months of having no hits have taken their toll on Delta Goodrem and boy friend Brian McFadden.

 

The pair quit Britain for New York last year so that Delta could try to crack the US market.

 

Now we can reveal the hard-up couple are leaving the Big Apple as they can no longer afford the massive rent they've been paying for the past 12 months.

 

"It was frustrating," confesses former Neighbours star Delta. "I couldn't afford to keep living in America and not have the album out.

 

"A lot of people just spend all their time there trying to make it but it's a big place."

 

So the couple, who will now base themselves in Delta's hometown of Sydney, plan to concentrate on being a songwriting team.

 

 

"We have a load of projects we're working on," reckons 21-year-old Delta.

 

 

"We're writing lots of songs for other artists and hoping to develop as a songwriting team. I think we work really well together."

 

 

Somehow, we can't quite seem them as the next Sonny and Cher.

 

 

yes i read this aswel, "OH, dear. All those months of having no hits have taken their toll on Delta Goodrem" thats wrong," I couldn't afford to keep living in America and not have the album", they make it sound like she cannot afford to live there money wise when its actually about her needing to do more stuff in oz and europe etc. they also make it sound like she is giving up singing to become a songwriter... well thats wrong also... the stupid uk public will read this and think that deltas career is over.

 

I think Delta should try USA, she can make it, Dido did and she has million selling albums, maybe it would be nice if she made a song with Eminem.

But if delta did that she would just be copying dido, i think delta just needs a very strong album and alot of promotion and she should be fine :)

That seems very snidely written. They make it sound like her career is over and the way they say "We have a load of projects we're working on," reckons 21-year-old Delta" just irritates me with the "reckons" bits <_<

Yeah, I agree with all that has been said. 3am girls annoy me full stop anyway. Everything they write is written in a bitchy way.

 

And another thing, I should hope Delta and Brian won't be the next Sonny and Cher...what they said there is really a complement in my eyes :lol:.

I don't mind them writing songs together or having a duet on an album track, but another duet single would be career suicide imo...
