If you'd been allowed to take still pictures of Darius in Guys and Dolls and/or Chicago, what moment(s) would you have chosen to keep?

My top priority would have been one of the flamenco poses from the Havana scene when he was dancing with the girl in the red dress.

Magnificent - Darius drawn up to his full height, ramrod straight back, arms stretched high above his head and that look, the latin mixture of passion and disdain.

BT you dont half get me going

Sorry. Didn't mean to make you blush.

It's rare to see Darius stand tall and be proud of his height. So my thanks to Rob Ashford the choreographer for a very special moment.

BTW I know he wasn't doing flamenco per se but its the only way I could describe it, other than by citing another wrong dance, the pasa doble.

There were so many moments.

I keep running the show through.

Yes I'd have taken one of him holding the girl up

....and the one of him holding her leg...that look on his face and then trying to explain to her boyfriend

also when she had him across her knees kissing him....how she held him up was amazing...her poor legs didn't half wobble at times

I'd love a video of his dance with Sarah during 'I've never been in love before', it just flowed, so graceful, loving, tender

I WANT to see it again

Wonder if he will do it again?

I would rather he do his own gigs but I have enjoyed these shows

The start of 'Luck be a lady' when he falls to his knee and punches out.

When he smells Sarahs hair just before she turns away when he was singing 'I'll know'

Oh and you can't forget when he comes on the stage for the last time in 'the uniform'

Actually I'd probably never have been able to take any....too busy watching.

I'd have to go especially just to take photos...then go back again to watch

'When he smells Sarahs hair just before she turns away when he was singing 'I'll know''

I missed that! I knew I hadn't seen enough shows this time.

Just watching the 'Paul O'Grady' on You Tube.....

forgot the hand stand  have to have that one

He executed it so well - he even got the heel click in.

I agree about the dance with Sarah during I've Never been In Love. It's the one point in the show which made me think back to the early musicals . It was a routine designed to make it seem like they're almost floating across the stage, perfectly in keeping with the magical romantic moment, and amazingly Darius pulled it off quite brilliantly. Razzle Dazzle in Chicago was the first time I was bowled over by quite how light on his feet he is.

I wonder how much Darius weighs. Does anyone know? Certainly a bit less than before he started rehearsals for G & D, I should think.

I must say I like seeing him play the romantic lead, he wears it so well and if it gets others like Darius dreamer going all well and better, I honestly think he should do more of that (not necessarily musicals but a straight romantic lead) it would expand his fanbase no end!!! The colourblind video made an impact so why not more of the same. I definitely think him playing this lead in guys and dolls has made an impact probably more than billy flynn. I do like seeing him doing his concerts also but I have always been a fan of musicals and I think guys and dolls has shown a lot of people what he can really do. I find it hard to pick out a certain bit in G and D but generally I agree with what you have all said above.

It's much harder to pick out a bit of Chicago because it was a much more static role. He had to grab the audience'sinterest with just delivery and facial expressions and of course what he has plenty of, sheer charisma. At least because it was a film, Richard Gere got a change of costume, a chance to walk through a changing scene, different sets and a cigar to play but most pictures of Darius in Chicago, bar the musical numbers, would have been him standing talking to another character in front of a bandstand.

I would have liked "the eyebrow", that expression he gives the band conductor who laughs too forcibly and long when D says "Chicago's getting so tough they shoot the girls right out from under you"

I'd like one of Darius left on stage, looking hurt, after Sarah goes into the mission after they have been to Cuba. , the bit where he's just put his hat on.

He looked fantastic standing there all alone on the stage at the end of Act One.

I'd like a close up of his sad expression in the Hot Box when he disconsolately shook his head and said "No, Miss Adelaide. Guys like Nathan Detroit and yes, Sky Masterson don't belong in a life like that."

I had my mini-binoculors with me on Saturday and it was heartrending..........one to rival anything on the Live Twice video and I don't believe I'm saying this, but it touched me more than my very favourite frame of Incredible.

Have we said -

As he returns to the game and stood on the centre pipe.

I also loved how he walked into the circle when they had all were all moving round.....with his height it looked great

Straight after Sarah slapped his face

When he hid Nathan's tie and said 'Well'...both their expressions were great.

I was really impressed with Shaun

I'd love one of him and Shaun when Darius forgot his line - and Shaun couldn't remember either. That was so funny.

When he leaned back in his chair after ordering a drink......

....do you know he never said 'please' :o ....got me every time that

it was just soooo ruude
