It's getting late

Can't hesitate

Can't let the moment slip away

Listen to the song BT.

Don't you ever

Be afraid to make mistakes

Take a chance

You won't regret it

I couldn't say it better.

Look around and find another.

I was on the point of buying A DVD recorder in Comet today when I asked the assistant if it would work with my Sky box and he asked me if it had 2 Scart sockets.......I hadn't clue so couldn't risk buying the thing.

I've checked now. It has 2 but the TV's connected to one of them. I'll have to go back and find out if the one remaining socket will do or if there are 2 scart leads from the double recorder.

Someone, somewhere doesn't want me to make this investment.

It's never easy to get used to new technology then within a really short space of time, it just becomes automatic.

Say if 50 times every day - you'll get so fed up with saying it, you'll just get one and manage to use it.

I'm off to bed as I'll have trouble getting up if I don't.

Talk to you tomorrow.

I'm back. At this moment in time, I'm sitting trying to get close enough to the pc to use it. Having a large brown lump keep putting his head either on my knee or the keyboard does make it even worse than usual.
It did - and I couldn't see what was getting him going. It was only this morning that I realised that's what he was scared by.

He sounds like my Tiny. She was really frightened by loud noises - thunder, fireworks, builders and she barked the house down if she saw anyone putting up a ladder at any of the neighbours' houses. I put it down to one night of total chaos when a building close by blew up in a gas explosion. Fortunately only one person had to be hospitalised overnight.
That is rather major - it puts a 12" diameter branch falling down in it's place. That'd make me do the equivalent of barking.

It amazed me how everyone just took it quite matter of factly. The families were re-housed, the building was taken down and the ground levelled. In a year it was almost as if those houses had never existed.

It's a moment frozen in time that I've never forgotten. I've never heard another bang like that and I don't ever want to again.
