Posted June 26, 200718 yr Thought I'd start a thread about this. Firstly, I hope the weather is nice and warm and sunny. Secondly, I hope Will's on top form, vocally, entertainment-wise, confidence-wise and in great spirits. Thirdly, I hope he sings 3 songs that I really like. Fourthly, I expect him to be received well by the crowd. I know that's rather general, but as far as specific songs go, I really can't think what I'm expecting. Maybe others can. Who's going? I wasn't going to originally, but I am now after all. :) EDIT: P.S. As far as the rest of the concert is concert, I hope and think I'll enjoy the English National Ballet, Andrew Lloyd Webber's slot, Take That and Natasha Bedingfield. Also looking forward to Elton John, The Feeling, Joss Stone, James Morrison and Lily Allen. Edited June 26, 200718 yr by Toni
June 26, 200718 yr Thanks Toni, I'm hoping for at least two songs from Will and one of them to be an upbeat one. As for the others that I'm looking forward to, Take That, Elton John, Rod Stewart, Duran Duran and Nelly Furtado, who the hell is Wix Wickens?
June 26, 200718 yr I hope Will does three songs.. i know his vocals will be amazing..i also want the sound to be perfect..i want the camera angles to be perfect..i want the weather to be perfect, i want Will's set to be very well received and i want him to duet with someone. not interested much in any of the others as such..but will watch every minutes in case he pops up when you least expect him. can't wait...dying to know what he will sing.
June 26, 200718 yr Really hope Will gets to sing more than one song. Would love 3 with at least one being an upbeat number. Wonder if he could sing a cover befitting to the occasion. Also looking forward to the ALW slot & Take That.
June 26, 200718 yr I am looking forward to Will singing at least two songs - one being an upbeat one to show off his dancing and showmanship. I also look forward to ALW's Musical Theatre slot, the Ballet and a few others but not Lily Allen, or Nelly Furtado. I am going to record it and edit out the people I don't like.
June 26, 200718 yr I want the weather to be ok ...will be driving down to london on sunday morning...I hope he gets three songs I hope everyone in the stadium abides by the new no smoking law...it will be wonderful to go to a concert and not be ill by the end of the night, i was really ill after the tatton park and warwick concerts even though they are outdoors if people are smoking around you it just the same as indoors <_< I would love for his performance to go down well and show the world how talented he is :yahoo: :cheer:
June 29, 200718 yr Thanks Toni, I'm hoping for at least two songs from Will and one of them to be an upbeat one. As for the others that I'm looking forward to, Take That, Elton John, Rod Stewart, Duran Duran and Nelly Furtado, who the hell is Wix Wickens? Wix Wickens: "Also performing at the Concert for Diana will be leading UK session musicians forming the house band, led by musical director and acclaimed Paul McCartney sidesman Wix Wickens." I just want his microphone to be working and the sound spot on. Edited June 29, 200718 yr by munchkin
June 29, 200718 yr Have a great time there Toni, and everyone's going! It should be a great concert! I hope he will do 3 or 4songs of course, but one performance like the one he did for the Prince Trust thing would already mke my day!! :P If I could go, I would enjoy Natasha Bedingfield and Lily Allen to bits  Edited June 29, 200718 yr by Cheryl Cole
June 29, 200718 yr Wix Wickens: "Also performing at the Concert for Diana will be leading UK session musicians forming the house band, led by musical director and acclaimed Paul McCartney sidesman Wix Wickens." I just want his microphone to be working and the sound spot on. Not a lot to ask but we know from past experience that it's more often than not the case. :( Fingers crossed for Sunday.
June 29, 200718 yr I want four things. 1. His mike is working and the sound is ok. 2. He gets more than one song and he has the band with him. :yahoo: 3. He steers well clear of Joss Stone and vise versa. 4. He doesn't get singled out in the press as per bloody usual.
June 29, 200718 yr I want three songs....one 'classic' .....one upbeat...and a cover never done by him before in such a way as to blow their minds and make the critics sit up and take notice :dancing:
