Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner has created a pop supergroup.

The band, comprising himself, Lily Allen, Dizzy Rascal and James Righton from the Klaxons, has reportedly already begun recording.

Turner and Dizzy Rascal have worked together in the past, as have Dizzy Rascal and Lily Allen. According to the Mirror the three musicians recruited Righton during this weekend's Glastonbury festival.

Turner told the newspaper: "It's definitely happening. We're recording an album. It will be out before you know it."

from Digital Spy, what do you think, could they do it, and could they be quite big, cos im not too sure!!!!????

OMG!Is that a joke?

i could easily say that i m not sure about it , if it works or not.

from the other hand Alex cant be wrong.

in every case its about music n music is , you know, something good.

whatever

I think this is definitley a joke!

There's no way they'd have been able to record more than one song either as they'll all have been promoting their albums and singles and working on new material, I guess it's not out of the question that it might happen, but I think it's highly unlikely. Just another case of the media falling for Alex's jokes again.

if it did happen i think it would be quite good, i love artics, lily and klaxons. not fussed on dizzee rascal though

Well I think it would be great if it did happen, I mean they're all really from different genres so it'd be different that's for sure. ^_^

I think that line proves it was a joke!

Would never happen, too busy with Arctic Monkeys for one.

er lol i wouldn't mind him making one with the guy from the Klaxons but the other 2 are completely different and would probably make a mess of it so glad this is a wind up :P

I think it would sound brilliant. :o Have you heard the B-side they did with Dizzee Rascal? That's really good and then on Dizzee's album he's done a track with Lilly Allen and that sounds really good too, so I think if the 4 of them came together it would sound excellent. ^_^
