In the free Dutch paper METRO there was a nice article about Lucie.

The interviewer came up with 4 men and asked Lucie to come up with the 5th.

THE DISCOVERER

-Gary Barlow-

He was working on his solo career when a friend and I walked by his rehearsal studio.

When his choreographer came running out he asked me if I could sing and dance.

I told him I could sing but wasn't sure about the dancing part

Soon I became Gary's background singer. After a while we really got to know eachother and

and he became interested in my background. I told him I wrote my own songs and played the

piano. He introduced me to a management and not too long after that I got my own contract.

THE PARTNER

-Geordon Murphy-

My best friend Annie introduced us in Leicester. A year after we first met our relationship started.

It was hard at first as I was living in London and he was in Leicester. We've been together for 7

years now so I can def say it's a serious relationship. Weddingplans ? We just went to Las Vegas and

I'm not wearing a wedding ring. Hahaha.

You'd better ask this question to Geordan cause I am a traditional girl and will wait till he proposes

THE WHEEL BARROW

-Marco Borsato-

Marco became one of my dearest friends. He was planning on recording the Babys song and invited me

to be part of his life. I was so nervous when I first met him but he was really down to earth. Pretty amazing

really looking at his status in the Netherlands. I was overwhelmed by his attitude towards life but at the same

time we are so much alike when it comes to our personalities. That gave me the chance to perform with him

at the Gelredome and to present myself to a large audience. It caused me to break down with happy tears behind

stage quite a few times.

THE CONDUCTOR

-Vince Mendoza-

Playing with a large orchestra is amazing. Before the Metropole Orchestra I'd never played with an orchestra before.

I had to get used to it because were they playing with me or was I playing with them ? To get another chance to play

with them is a privilege to me. I'm still that girl from the UK that likes to write songs and sing.

This saturday I will be on stage with 52 musicians. Will Marco be there ? If you wanna know you have to come and

see for urself. Haha. I will be enjoying every minute of it. You just never know if you will ever get another chance

like this.

THE DAD

-Michael Silverman-

I know it might sound cheesy but I have to pick my dad. He's a huge music fan and taught me all from the The Beach

Boys to Donny Hathaway and All Green. He introduced me to their music. We have a very special relationship, partly

because we are very much alike. We always take a leap into the unknown while my mother is a bit more rational.

Now I'm getting older I see my parents more as people instead of parents. Have I ever a written a song for my dad ?

Yes I have. It's called "Handed it Down" but I never sang it to him. It's too personal right now for me to play it. I

probably would be in tears by the 3rd sentence.

Although "The Wheelbarrow" is a bit rude :o

I know I thought that too!

I wish we had the crying with laughter icon.

It's slightly true though, I'm sure those massive audiences held by Marco were amazing for Lucie to play to. It's all experience and grabbing opportunities at the end of the day.
I loved on Monday me and Mummy Silvas trying to figure out when the last time we saw eachother was and not knowing! :D
 last time i met her was at the Carre and she still knows me and my name :o
