for reasons unknown looks set to flop in the chart on sunday as midweek positions show it to be in the top 50 :(

No suprise really, I mean I don't think it's that good a song and plus it's the 4th single and 4th singles never tend to do well, especially for an indie band.

 

Still the album is back in the Top10 in the midweeks which is the main thing I guess. :D

true but the last album sold better and the 4th single did alot better still it was hard to follow up the brilliant read my mind

True but when the last album released the sales were counted by physical sales only and now it's physical and downloads so fanbases can't get the single as high anymore because there's a lot of download sales.

I agree with Josh, remember that the "Somebody Told Me" re-issue got to No.3 with only 10,000+ sales?? And seeing the album back in the Top 10 is always a great thing. Although I have to admit I'm disappointed with the single's performance, I think they've done amazing with this sophomore album and they should be proud ^_^

single is number 53 and although albums sales are well up its down o glastonbury more than the single

im disappointed with the single's performance also, but to be honest i was never expecting it to do that well, i mean i love the song but i dont think its single material, i still think sam's town would've made a better single... oh well, good to see the album back in the top 10 though ^_^

i didnt expect big things for the single either but i was convinced it woul dbe a top 40 hit

Yeah, I saw this single AT LEAST getting a top 40 position. :( It's a great single and song in my opinion. I thought FRU still had some potential in it.
