yeah. the first two singles got some good promo, but the album virtually got none unless jamelia started talking about it. don't get me started on "no more" either  ugh. crappy parlophone.
Not sure i think for BOTD to have been a hit she would have needed to release it around June when its getting hot, people like a loud dance song at that time of year and not ballads :(
yeah, there were a number of things wrong with jamelia's comeback, including the lead single and the timing of its (and the album's) release. overall, it was just a mess that i'm gonna try and forget.
I'd say compared to some artists it was a reasonable success (gold, two top 10 singles) but for her, it did disapointingly. BOTD was hardly a 'hit' as such, didnt even sell 50k i dont think...SAY was the only hit. And it may have gone Gold but it didnt sell 100k :( Lets just hope for more success next time!
Its not even sold 100k. I dont think it was anywhere near being on last year's list...

what are the exact worldwide figures?

They're unknown :( It seems anyway. I dont think it's sold anything more than perhaps 150k world-over?
^^ nah. it's sold just under 100,000 copies in the uk, and it went gold in sweden (i think that's the country) and gold over there is shipments of 40,000 copies and then you have the rest of the world that didn't really get a copy of the first single, nevermind an album.

i don't think it was released in australia. if it was, it didn't sell $h!t.

"something about you" got top 20 though.

Not sure, SAY didnt do too bad in Austrailia ^_^
didnt the singles do well there tho

"something about you" got top 20. "beware of the dog" got top 50.

no promotion (shock) was in place over there aside from video & radio.
