Beatles songs have been covered by hundreds of artists, some make a decent effort some are just terrible. Discuss some or post a video if you can find one.

Here's one by Sir Elton John singing Come Together

The Best ever cover of a The Beatles song is IMHO:

Siouxsie & The Banshees - Dear Prudence (1983)

The banshees also made a good job of this:

Earth Wind & Fire - Got to get you into my life

Joe Cocker's A Little Help From My Friends has got to be one of the best. I also like ELO's live version of Day Tripper from "The Night The Lights Went Out ....."

I have to admit I have a sneaking admiration for Peter Sellers' 'reading' of A Hard Day's Night in the style of Richard III - but I'm just weird like that.

cliff bennet and the rebel rousers version of 'got to get you into my life' was another brilliant cover (sorry bri, ewf's effort was awful).

Well I strongly disagree with you on both counts. Especially The Overlanders version of Michelle which is appalling IMHO.
