Do you realise it's only 21 days before Will performs at the Proms? and I've got concert tickets! train tickets and a hotel to kip overnight in. I'm so excited and looking forward to seeing Will again, :yahoo: I wonder what he'll be singing and wearing? shall I open up a Proms thread? what are you all wearing? shall we be allowed to take butties and our own food and drink in? :w00t:

Me too. :yahoo: Open that thread & let the build up begin.

Knew you'd be happy. Sadly Sunderland had a wake up call to the Premiership, a 3-0 stuffing by Wigan. :( Think it could be a long season.

You never know TT, it's always a bit shaky for some teams at the beginning of the season and Spurs still have a lot of injured players out and we have ManU next week. :o

Yep, it's grey and dismal here in London too.

I'll have to admit though, that it's been something of a relief that we haven't had the scorching Summer we were promised, I was dreading a repeat of the heat of last year.

I was in hospital for two of the hottest weeks last year, no air conditioning, no opening a window beacaue of a wasps nest right outside of this 9th floor ward  we had our own fans, our families bought in, I thought we were all more likely to die of the bloody heat than the illnesses we went in for. :D

Poor you. :( That must have been just the right breeding ground for germs. Bet you were relieved when you got home.

With all them super bugs in hospitals, people get sicker more from what they went in with in the first place don't they?

Hello everyone. Haven't been around I'm afraid as I haven't been too well. Feel a bit better to-day. Have to go for another x-ray this afternoon, and then an appointment with the ENT man next week. Feel so tired all the time, and sleep at the drop of a hat. Don't think the weather has helped, although to-day the sun shines.

Just going to catch up with what I've missed. :D

It was a heart ward too. Luckily for me, I was there awaiting a procedure that proved the old tickker was fine. Any upper stomach pain is suspect heart problems nowadays it seems. Two bloody weeks though, beacause of the sheer volume of patients that need that procedure and the lack of qualified staff able to do it. Talking of staff, they were wonderful, I have nothing but respect and praise for all of those I came in contact with at the much maligned Northwick Park hospital in west London.
