Again thanks to Ruthie.

Will Young wearing a green hoodie with the hood up and big shades, outside a cafe on Duke Street, Brighton

From Heat.

Sounds as if he was in disguise.

Thanks TT.

I'm sure I read somewhere that either Biff Stannard or Jules Gallagher have a studio in Brighton but I've never been able to find out for sure, I thought that was maybe why Kylie was there (she's been working with them), when she was spotted having tea & cake with Will in a posh cafe.I've just googled Biff Stannard and found a link to someone called 'Clarky Boy' a session musician. He says on his Myspace:-

"I've also had the pleasure of playing live and recording some sessions for awesome musicians, songwriters & producers (Biff Stannard, Will Young & Coolio) in and around Brighton & London."

I don't know how old this info is, but let's hope that Will is recording down in Brighton, I think it is Biff with a studio down there

There could be a connection. :yahoo:

Thanks for the latest snippets everyone and Will must be recording quite a lot recently, he's been spotted in Brighton on a regular basis this year. :cheer:

I Found this on a blog :D

05/08/07 - I saw Will Young in some odd shorts and speculated he may have just been jogging although the person he was with was smartly dressed. Hmmm. Interesting.

So would I, it's almost like MI6 are in charge of security concerning this album, not a bloody peep about anything  :D

All we do know for sure is the writing's coming along, he was going to gather his songs together in August and that he was working with Greg Kurstin back in March, all from the horse's mouth so to speak.

I'd love to know who else he's writing with, who's producing, why he's been in LA (Robin Thicke again? or maybe even Greg, he hails from LA apparently) but then again Ash and MG both have Robin Thicke as friends on Myspace, so maybe they met him through Will when they were all there together earlier in the year. Has he been recording in Brighton or just on some away day excursions?

I think it's definite he's working with Karen again, thanks to another devoted detective, and we've got to hope that some of the songs you've tracked down BYM&Ms, are from the latest project, but most of all a nod to exactly what part of next year we might expect the album, would be the very best news of all. :D

Just been watching Will give his comments on the album track LAWR back in 2002. Oh William you are a naughty little fibber :naughty:

Anyone know the date Will appeared at the Dome in Germany? Was it summer 2003?

Wasn't it March or April 2003 TT?

I was trying to find the date for the Dome and I looked in Will's book "On Camera, Off Duty" and I came across a reference to LAWR in there as well, after a bad start he did manage to end on a diplomatic note though.

quote: "It was a toughie for me to be honest. My worry was that it would come across like, "right, how can we get another hit?, I know! we'll combine the Gareth fans and the Will fans" - I said that at the time. I was thinking "Is this taking the p***?" However Will was happy with the finished result, "I thought the production on it was great", Steve Lipson did a great job.

Love it

Thanks for the date suggy.

Here's what Will said about the track when FNO was released.

I like the track, I think it's a good break. It's a really good position for iton the album & people were saying to me oh it should go at the end but I kept saying wait till you hear what's at the end. It's realy nicely positioned & mmm I think it's beautiful & I think it sounds really nice. It's a very understated version of it actually um erm after doing the video of the live versionwhich was so vocal & rally Gareth & me working against each other. My only disappointment is actually we didn't record it together in the studio & I thinkif we had, we both think we would have added a bit more to it. It's nice to have 2 versionsfor people to see the video& get this great vocal gymnastics then listen to the single or to the album & it's slightly more understated but I think the idea is that it's a very sad songso you don't need to do all this ooh ahs!. I'm a bit half & half, I'm not surebut it's nice to have both & a very welcome break on the album.

Having listened to it agian maybe he was just picking his words carefully at the time. I suppose he couldn't say as he has since that if he could have one wish he would erase his vocal from the track. :P

Thanks TT
