Sorry to hear your back isn't well Suggy. :friends: Hope you can find some kind of relief. I don't know what sort of pain it is - but I use Arnica Gel which seems to ease my pain.

Pity the weather isn't better. You should come to the real north young man!!! - we've got a lovely day to-day, although it is a bit windy.

A supplier at work (they are all on the lookout )left me a message at work on Friday- laughing and saying that Will was standing right next to them in the 'surf' on a beach - I didn't pick it up until today.

Must be the few days your friend saw him Julie

Will in a wetsuit - so glad he is enjoying the summer...................they kindly asked for a photo and they said he was really nice and agreed (that's our Will) and lol she then goes to to say 'if he hadn't been soaking wet I'd have asked him to hold up a sign saying

'Hi Rosie'.

He looked really lovely all wet...............and in a suit

She was surprised how tall he was - and said 'I bet you have never seen Will in a wetsuit before' I just laughed and said yes I have

She's going to ask permission to post the photo. :yahoo:

Just seen that TT, thanks for bringing it over. Why oh why wasn't Will there last year when I was there! :( On second thoughts he'd probably have run a mile.
He's getting very good at allowing stranger's photos. Probably guessed they weren't fans . Wonder if he realised they could end up on his website. Then again I suspect he's very proud of his body. ;)

I think I'll cry if she can't post the pic. :o

This was his holiday, and yet he made time. It's another nail in the coffins of those who make out "friends" of theirs say he was rude to them etc, etc, etc.

I think a lot of those so called "meetings" are made up chrysalis, I'm not saying Will doesn't tell people to f*** off now and again but I bet he's had a damn good reason to say it.

I've just seen this, :o posted by IscaGill, I don't think any of us knew about this "by royal appointment" private gig did we? B)

It's from Howard (Will's keyboard player)

In 2005 Howard was honoured to play for the Queen at her 80th birthday celebrations with just Will, himself and a Yamaha Concert Grand Piano. Although a little nervous from the scale of the event, Howard and Will managed to perform exceptionally for her Majesty.

I agree. I too would be rude to people (or better still try to ignore them) if they were rude to me.

Thanks for bringing that over Suggy. I hadn't seen it, but somehow it doesn't surprise me. All these little gems from behind the scenes.

Pity we cant get 'Madge' to join the forums

You never know, stranger things have happened.

Someone on D reckons it is when Will sang All Time Love at the Royal Command Performance. Quite possible.

I think that is the likely explanation but we do know he has entertained the royals on more than one occasion & Charles & Camilla are supposedly big fans. Didn't he record a cd of classics for them?

New magazine 17/7/07,

Thanks to Ruthie, :thumbup: there's an article in the magazine and there's a small pic of Will and one of Simon Cowell;

Will Forgives Simon

Are we about to see a warm friendship develop between Will Young 28, and his one-time mentor Simon Cowell?

You'll recall that Simon 47, publicly said that he preferred Gareth Gates, who came second to Will on Pop Idol. But now I hear that after the Concert for Diana, the pair were seen getting on backstage.

Simon told me, "Will was great out there. It gave me great pleasure to think we had opened the door for that kind of talent to come through."

Will, for his part, gave Simon a hug. Has peace finally been declared between the pair?

Did he? I'd never heard that before! If it's true, I'd sure like a copy of that... wish I had some Royal connections. ;)

Yes he did. I think it was after he performed at Highgrove for a dinner given by PC for the British Forces association. I remember that one of the songs was "On the Street Where You Live". I also remember a newspaper story where it was said that PC had Will's album in his car, I think the chauffeur gave that away. Wonder he wasn't sent to the Tower, giving away state secrets

There certainly was a Show at the Cardiff Millenium Arena in December 2005, Shirley Bassey was the headliner, but apart from that it completely passed me by. That was the time Will was on tour with KO. Was it ever televised? But the snippet from Howard's blog made it sound like he played in more "intimate" surroundings than Cardiff Millenium Arena.

Thanks for confirming what I thought Maruerite. I can see a knighthood for our boy in the future.

Wonder if there's any truth in this. If so Will's far more forgiving than I am. I bet Simon's had many a sleepless night over the one that got away. :P
