He has to be their most famous student. I bet they are very proud of him.

I just looked this up, and Exeter University's most famous student is actually J K Rowling!! :P Never knew that she'd studied there. Thom Yorke, of Radiohead, also attended it.

It's spawned quite a few stars then. :cheer: Thanks for the info Toni.

Wasn't Bob Hoskins involved with the Exeter Footlights in younger days. I'm sure I read he was when we were getting all the info during MHP.

Just saw your post munchkin ...sorry if i have caused confusion i was not saying the pics i originally posted where old...when i first posted them i thought they might be ....TT asked why i thought that ...but it was because i thought i remembered him in the same suit/glasses/ bag and outside the same house...... but i came across these today which explained my confusion, he had more or less worn the same outfit ....even standing in the same spot

Thanks to Brenda on Devoted.

Charlotte Church mentions Will in an exract from her Book in Ok mag.

Charlotte mentions meeting another pop hunk who tickled her. Pop Idol winner Will Young.

she wrote:

"A couple od weeks before the Royal Variety Performance back in Dec 2005 I met Will Young on CD:UK. He was going to be appearing on the show as well and asked me what there was to do in Cardiff, where it was being recorded, I said he should come to the Robin Hood pub on the night before the show. We had a wicked evening and we sang a few numbers together.

Now Will is a brilliant musician and singer, but he's rubbish at remembering lyrics! I was trying to think of the most famous songs I knew for us to sing, but he didn't have a clue. We sang a bit of Crazy Chick together and we made him sing Evergreen. Someone snapped us on their mobile and sold it to the Sun, provoking the headline Will in The Hood.

The Royal variety Performance was made much more fun by him being there. I complimented him on his performance in MHP 2Yeah thenaks he said. Did you see my c..k Can't say I did. He said " If you pause the video in the scene where we all get naked, there is one point where you can see it - it's worth a look, it's really big. He was absolutely serious. I thought it was a bit strange, but he's a really nice, funny guy, if a bit eccentric. Will kept trying to make me laugh while Shirley Bassey was singing, but I wouldn't because I so admired her.

I think the last paragraph just shows how Will's sense of humour gets him into trouble.

 I've just edited my post. He seems to wear that combo when he wants to make a good impression - he wore it at Conor's sister's wedding  I wonder what happened to that car.

Thanks for bringing that over TT. Only Will - And she believed he was serious - he was baiting her to get her reaction. Not surprised about the song lyrics - he forgets his own sometimes.

I just saved it as default....but afterwards I noticed if I go into tools on the explorer toolbar its now there as iespell.....although when you use it on Devoted theres an abc icon on the right above the posting box.....it was very easy to download..I wasn't sure which to use but went for the one that was highlighted..

After you've got it I found you could go into its properties box and change the checker from US to UK English....

I use Firefox as my browser and words misspelled are underlined in red in everything I do. Very useful.
