God how great is that info?..perhaps proms in the park this year..september!..last september we were at Cardiff for the KO kick off..

Would love this to be true. Never forgotten BOTROTD, it was brilliant - but the screaming - oh my!! :o

Oh, the memories of that! Sigh. I wasn't meant to go to this. Had been to church in the morning (the church I go to used to meet in Pimlico) and decided to go for a stroll in Hyde Park, as you do, you know. ;) Didn't know there were any tickets left, but I thought I'd ask at the box office, near the gates. It was just before the finale when I got my ticket and entered the concert area. I'd only walked for a minute when the screaming started as Will appeared and then the orchestra struck up with the first few bars of "Summertime". Gosh, I felt so excited. I started to walk faster, Will had started singing, by the time I was near the front (without pushing, honestly B) ) he was halfway through that song. But it was absolutely beautiful. The screaming was a bit annoying, though.

 

And then came the bonus: BOTROTD! Gareth was supposed to have sung that, according to the earlier publicity. Will did it brilliant :cheer: although running away from the orchestra at one point. :lol: Aw, it was so lovely.

Reminis (sp) away Toni. It was magical enough on the tv so I can't begin to imagine what it was like actually being there. :wub:
