Absolutely none. :magic: I did some college work earlier and that's about it for today. I had plans for this weekend too but I dropped them all as I didn't feel well enough to go out. :lol:

My mom's supposed to teach me how to drive. :lol: I just got my learner's permit on Tuesday so I can drive with someone else. :heehee:

Yeah I did. :lol: It's my own fault for walking about in the freezing cold in just a jumper instead of wearing a jacket. :(

 

I know. :( And it costs seriously loads in the UK to get your drivers licence, then get a car and then get some decent insurance for it. I can legally start driving though in just under 3 weeks. :magic:

Oh. :lol: I get colds sometimes too, especially when the weather changes. :(

 

I dont think it even costs anything here to get a license. :o But I guess if you just get one of those old, beat-up cars it won't cost much. :lol: Although insurance is very expensive for a new driver. :arrr:

The mother said she'd go halves with me on a car so we can share it together which is all good. :w00t: Takes away a bit of the cost anyway. Insurance is the worst parts, I think the actual insurance costs more than the car itself in most cases. :arrr:

And that's good! My mom drives like a 2002 car so I don't think she'd let me drive it. :lol: I don't know how exactly insurance is here, but I've heard is just expensive, I think over $100 monthly. =/

Yeah it'll be expensive, especially because you're a young and inexperienced driver and you're male so it'll be quite high. I can't remember how much it is on average over in the UK but it's expensive. We were all given a great big talk on car insurance last year but I can't remember how much the guy said it was roughly for insurance. :lol:

Yeah exactly. What I've heard, is that if you take a driver's ed course from school, you can get a lower insurance rate, so I'll have to see. And I'm hoping to get a job [if I can, I'm not sure] or tutor or something, and start saving up, both for car and college. :(

My tutor at college though has advised us against getting a job until next year though. :\

Well there's gonna be loads of pressure on me now until January because we have exams for January so they've got to rush part of the courses that i'm taking. :lol:

OHHH. Well this semester for me is really easy, I only have one honors class. But next semester all of my classes are honors, so I'm dreading that. :lol:

 

I'd really take the media out of that. :o Unless of course you like the action. :heehee:

 

I have a few ideas in mind. I'd like to do something in entertainment, or be a graphic designer, psychologist, or microbiologist. :lol:

Well the media interests me but it's really competitive for jobs and the pay's not too good so I dunno. :\ In the police force it's good becuase you get to put troublesome youths in their place. :tear: It just seems fun, but I guess it's kinda dangerous aswell.

Oooh. I have a class similar to that: Business Essentials. I absolutely hate it. In fact I'm doing homework for that right now. :( :lol:

 

It actually sounds like you're leaning towards the police work more than the media. :o And also, police officers get great benefits don't they?
