At 10 past 3 the salesman knocked on the door to tell us there was a slight problem.

 

 

A slight problem :o - wonder what a major one would be. :rolleyes: Poor you and family TT. :friends: I really would be absolutely fuming. How can they possibly have cut the carpet short? And £25 - I think I would tell them what to do with that and their carpet. :arrr:

 

 

I'm on late as I've been out to the Quiz Night at my local and got chatting afterwards. Only came second, but it was a good evening. Wouldn't be able to sleep much anyway, as they're cutting the hay or grass or whatever it is they do. The farmers sometimes work through the night to get everything done.

 

I expect you're all tucked up in bed now, but nite all the same. :)

The cat was in the vet all week on a drip and then they did more blood tests but they did not improve in fact they got worse...they can't do anything for him but send him home with medication while he still as quality of life...he seems relatively happy at the moment we brought him home last night[ he could have weeks or months] i don't want him to suffer so when the time is right we will make the decision :(

 

I thought it could not get any worse but our other 16 year old cat called Thomas [named after the Thomas bar in Spain were i met my hubby we got him at the same time as Jerry]..he had a bad reaction [ Wednesday ] to a change of cat food he had extreme diarrhea with blood in it and was vomiting we had to rush him to the vet and he was put on a drip ...the vet wanted to do the same tests that Jerry had for kidney failure....so we had a horrible 24 hours of waiting for the results ....i could not believe it [ and neither could the vet] when she said he was all clear :D they said we could take him home this morning...but when we rang they said he had taken a turn for the worse and was back on the drip ...so we have to wait until Monday for more news...i can't bare the thought of losing both at the same time :cry:

 

 

we had to cancel our holiday to America ...we lost a lot of money because the departure date was so close...the only positive thing to come out of it is that i don't need to diet anymore ..i have lost 6 pounds in the last few days :P

What a sad post BYM&M's and you have my best wishes for a happy outcome, it's awful when you've got to make decision's like that, hopefully you'll have them both at home with you after monday as well. :friends:

Oh BYm+m's, :friends: I really feel for you - it's all so sad. Know how you feel - I had to make similar decisions a couple of years ago when I lost my last two cats within 2 and half weeks of one another.

What an awful time you've been having of it lately. :( :friends: hope you have both your cats home with you soon & you get to spoils some quality time with them both.

It is horrible when your pet is ill as it is difficult for them to understand.
