How awful for the whole family Marguerite. :( Hopefully your daughter in law will make a quick recovery so they can all come home. I can understand how useless you must be feeling. :(

I'm so sorry about your daughter Marguerite, how upsetting that she's so far away as well, :( hopefully they'll let her out soon and then she can see her little girl as well.
Oh dear Marguerite :( - I do hope your daughter-in-law is on the mend soon. What a worrying time, even more so when you're not there to help your son and granddaughter. :friends:
So sorry to hear about your Daughter in law Marguerite it would be upsetting if it happened here, but to happen in a foreign country where you can't help must be awful :(

Thank you for your messages.

On a positive note, my son was very impressed with the speed my daughter-in-law was treated from the moment a doctor was first called to their hotel. Only problem is, hardly any of the staff speaks English of course, and they're dependant on one Aussie member of staff who speaks fluent Greek and who's been helping them so far.

Marguerite, my thoughts go out to you and your daughter.

Re: ectopic pregnancies: my sister-in-law had one about 6 years ago and I think they had to remove one of the ovaries. 6 months later she got pregnant properly and they've also had a second child since, so hopefully your daughter will be just fine.

My best wishes to you and your family Marguerite. I hope she is soon able to return home and you will be able to help them.

Surprise surprise, chopsticks is back on DS. I find it very strange how a thread that hasn't been posted on since the 7th of July until today, can attract this loser like a moth to a flame, what a sad individual.

Wonder if he/she/it realise the thread goes back up every time he/she/it posts their vitriol. Love your nickname Suggy - nice one.

I've just got back home from the hospital, my little grandson fell off his bike and cut his leg really badly and he's got to go to theatre to have it sorted, thank goodness he was wearing a cycle helmet though or it could have been a lot worse. :(
Oh dear Suggy - what a worry. Chin up. :friends: And what a thing to happen to him at the beginning of the school holidays. When are they operating? Hope they haven't any holidays planned.

They said sometime tonight, I've taken my daughter an overnight bag along with some food and drink and she said she'd ring me if he goes down in the next few hours, luckily they're not going on holiday until september.

The sooner they get it sorted out the sooner your grandson can be on the mend. Members of the forum and their families seem to be going through the wars recently. :(

Thinking of you all. :friends:

Anyone else have problems with Devoted?

Yep me, which is probably quite a timely break for me at the moment :D

It's back now Marguerite but I decided to keep out of the current discussion. :P
