Has anyone heard anything from chrysalis? I'm a little worried about her as I know she had to see a specialist. :(

First time Ive been on today, finding the new forum a bit mind boggling :blink:

 

Do like the way you can approve or dissaprove of someones post (could be useful :rolleyes: ) anonomously as far as I can tell - plus you can add a comment about it...wonder if folks will use that option?

Hello all. Apparently you can turn off certain people so that you don't see their posts - maybe that will stop some of the bickering - What the eye doesn't see the heart doesn't grieve :lol:

I think I may be very tempted to use that option when album 4 is released. ;)

On the left hand side of their post there are 3 little icons. If you hover over the middle one it says you can add to their reputation. (its at the bottom)

 

As for the ignore thing - at first I thought that was a good idea but if you think about it any heated comments are bound to get quoted by someone else so you'll still get to see them I would imagine

The new forum is very like DS in that you can choose to ignore members, just I have with a certain tree-like person.

You can also choose who sends you pms too with the Buddy list.. Very handy - stops people getting nasty pms as I believe some have.

 

I like it now I'm getting used to it . It's got a lot more features. Too many in some case :lol:

Surely even if you do do that you will see what they've written if someone else quotes them? Also, wont the threads not make sense?

That's true, but sometimes you cannot abide the person you put on the ignore list. I have done this on Digital Spy with one person and although sometimes he is quoted, it all seems to flow quite well.
