Woodie is off on one again! Saying that the 40,000 at Proms in the Park didn't go just for Will. (As if!) BBC didn't bother to put it on the main channels, (they never do) and that Ronnie Scott's isn't prestigious! There has been a great reply!

Jeez it doesn't give up does it? nearly every post is about Will, they're either jealous as hell, obssessed or just plain wacko.

It should definitely have had a place at the dinner table. No fan could be more obsessed.

Which thread Pearl?

The WY thread in Music on DS. That, or the James M vs James B thread!

You and me both - first time I've got tickets to one of these intimate gigs and I shall be devastated if he has to cancel....

I do hope none of the dinner guests breathed germs all over our man

Fingers crossed that Will's well enough to perform on sunday night, I can imagine all those with tickets are getting worried as they'll have booked overnight accomodation etc.

It's always quieter on the boards on a Friday TT, I've been out three times today already, shopping and visiting but I'll be around most of the weekend as I'm not going anywhere else, I'm having a dossy weekend.

I'm a bit concerned...not that we have overnight accommodation - but as Will has only been billed as the special guest, I wondered that if he couldn't do it whether they would be justified in getting another artist to replace him. I know if he were just rescheduled but without the ticket sales carrying over I think the chances of my being so lucky twice over are somewhat remote

I've not been on today as I am trying to get ready for my hols.....fly on Friday and I've not got Sunday to prepare - well - hopefully I haven't

Really hope Will is better by Sunday Barb as I can understand your concerns re the tickets, with the band already being booked and Will only being billed as a special guest.

Are you off anywhere nice on your hols?

I had a conversation about exactly that this morning and with the same concerns :(

Jamies and Georges tickets however only cost £30 and people booking for Will knew that they were paying £40 for the band plus Will - I cant see how they would be allowed to "short change" us.

In addition - the email which RS members received stated that Will Young would be performing with the band so again it would be false information if someone else were the special guest.

It would have been easier if Admin had confirmed. :)

Well its not really the cost though.....its knowing I probably won't be so lucky if theres a next time if they cancel this....still cannot believe we got these .......

Thanks for asking Gill...going to Greece, Zakynthos. Just a week but am looking forward to a break

Hope that rascally Mr Young doesn't put anything on sale while I'm gone <_<

I only hope that if he has to cancel the tickets will be honoured at a later date. Rather than the money back, unless he has to cancel it altogether - heaven forbid. :(

Heartily sick of Bran Flakes, whatever possessed me to get such a ruddy big box. http://www.sheknows.com/graphics/emoticons/dunno.gif

 Throw them out & pretend you've eaten them!

Throw them out for the birds and then buy yourself something more appetising. Oatiflakes are nice. We are having fruity muesli from Sainsburys at the moment.

I've already chucked a box of Oatiflakes out Pearl, it was like eating cardboard  I think I'll get some Alpen tomorrow as I never get fed up with that.
