Your resume of Will's achievements this year alone make impressive reading. The trouble is that not everyone knows about them and therefore assume he isn't doing anything.

Yes Will always seems to be in demand for those gigs & why wouldn't he, being such a class live performer. :yahoo: Good earner for him too.

Thanks TT for updating Jonny on what Will's been up to since his last album and hello again to you Jonny, :hi: yes, we are a friendly bunch and we always seem to find out what Will's doing, sometimes before he himself seems to know. :lol: As well as all the other things that TT posted, Will's also been commuting between the UK and America, writing and recording lots of new songs for his 4th album, out in March. :yahoo: So I don't think he's been away that long actually, Dido hasn't released anything since 2003! :o

I'm sorry I haven't been around lately, but to be honest I haven't really felt like doing very much, not feeling well and having various tests, including going down to London last week for a PET scan. The bad news is that they've discovered something nasty in my right lung - but the good news is that it is in the early stages, hasn't changed shape in the last 6 weeks and can be operated on. I've just heard again this morning from the Consultant, and I should be seeing the surgeon within the next week.

 

I'm so much behind with everything Will I don't even know where to start. Can some bright peep get me up to speed please?

Will may have not released an album for two years (not really that long a gap) but he isn't just the your average run of the mill pop singer. He's such a multi talented guy we just never know what he'll be doing next. Here's just some of the thinks he's been up to this year.

Headlining act at Proms in the Park (most of us were there)

Sang at the BAFTA's in Los Angeles

Headlining act at the Up & coming Little Noise Gigs in aid of Mencap (next Thursday & most of us will be there :cheer:) .

 

Quite impressive don't you think & I bet I've forgotten things. And now we have a new album to look forward to in March. Here's to his 4th multi platinum album. :yahoo: I can't wait. :dance:

 

Wow - that's a great list. Will is always doing something, but he doesn't get much publicity. I suppose 'pop stars' who are out of the limelight often seem to have disappeared forever - but most of those with quality - including Dido - when they come back, they seem to have kept their fanbase. I hope Will has since the last album.

 

Heard to-day they're operating on the 11th December. Looks like Christmas in hospital for me. Still can't believe it's all happening.
