It was so strong I thought it was going to blow the gable end off the house. :o

I'll blame hubby as I always sleep in the back room on Friday's to get away from his snoring after he's been out for a drink. I wouldn't have heard it half as much sleeping at the front of the house.

Anyone else having trouble posting on here this morning? I have to post everything twice.

My pages have been slow to load since the changeover to the new server but I got on alright.

Very windy here too - but I don't think it did much damage.

It was really windy here as well, I was dodging flying plastic bottles and cans on my way home from work last night, :arrr: it was lashing down with rain on and off last night as well.

I'm beginning to think we imagined that there was a small snippet of Will's new music played at the Brits.

Not a flipping mention of it since on the OS, yet I thought that, if it wasn't the curtain raiser to announce the new album (which obviously it wasn't  ) then at least there could have been something posted asking if we heard it and hoping we enjoyed it. Anything really, except treating it like it never even happened. :arrr:

It's very strange that it's just been ignored.

If we don't hear anything in the next couple of weeks looks like it's just been a taster to keep us going & we aren't getting an early summer release. I've mixed feelings about this. Depends on whether SBMG are going to get their finger out & support Will with a proper album launch & he has live gigs & top quality promo organised. On the other hand if we are going to have to rely on tv promo, although I'm desperate to hear the new music, I'd prefer them to delay the album till the autumn.

I maybe in the minority and it would probably result in fewer sale, but I really wish that Will would be allowed to get out there and 'sing for his supper' so to speak, that's what he does best. I hate any reliance on slots on prime time TV shows . I hope the music is good enough to get the necessary radio play, but I much prefer a singer goes the Duffy route than the Leona Lewis one, even if they don't sell as much. BTW, I know that Duffy has also had a couple of good tv slots ;) but God forbid SBMG do a Leona with Will, where it's all about tv and f' all to do with gigging for the fans.

Sounds like the OS doesn't it. All secretive. I thought things were looking up as far as updates were concerned, but at the moment feel like it's just the old OS.

So have I TT. Like you and Marguerite I just wish they'd support him - not "inyerface" sort of way, but with proper launches and live gigs.

Don't get me wrong Marguerite I don't want that either but if tv promo is all the label have in mind I don't want it just to be morning tv which is all that is available in the summer. Like you I want an album launch & gigging to support the release with some tv appearances thrown in so we all get to see him.

I suppose it's all down to the way his label view him - a serious artist or a piece of pop fluff! We all know how tedious Will finds endless tv promo so given the choice I'm sure we can guess how he'd love to promote album 4. Didn't he say at the AOL sessions that he wished he could just do that every day.

PS Sorry for keep adding to this post. I just keep having further thoughts.
