Thanks TT. My own fault. A Sainsbury opened up in town last Thursday, and already I've been 3 times!!! It's so easy - just hop onto the old A1 - and hop off at the next junction. It takes no time at all. In fact it takes less than getting from my village to the A1. When I was a kid I used to go shopping with my mum to Sainsbury. Those days were the pre pre-packaged food, when they patted the butter etc. Must admit I missed the store when I moved up here.

We have a new local Sainsbury's that opened about a year ago. I tend to walk there a couple of times a week. Love their products but it's only a small store so hubby picks up the bulk of the shopping at Morrisons or I shop online at Asda.

Sorry for boring you with my shopping habits. Hurry up Will.

Not boring at all TT. Got to keep things going whilst young Master William makes up his mind when to release this album.

You can't beat a good shopping thread, http://www.boomspeed.com/carolrobert/shop.gif I'm always going off to Tesco's, mainly for Sushi and fruit and veg, I eat tons of it and I usually go about 3 times a week.

The vets said we would have the full results of the blood tests last Thursday but we are still waiting <_< they gave us some partial results last Friday.......... they said some of the results where elevated but they wouldn't know how bad until the full results where in [ for both cats] the waiting is doing my head in :arrr:

How's the news on your cats BYm+M's? Thinking of you and them. :friends:

We got the results last night both cats have liver damage [one is a lot worse then the other] they are not in immediate danger but they will have to be closely monitored and have regular blood tests....because of their age i am reasonably ok with it.

That's all you could have hoped for I suppose BYM&M's and it's to be expected given both their ages, at least you've got them both still with you, hopefully for a good while longer as well. :friends:

What's up chrysalis?

She's not happy TT, I hope everythings alright, can we help in any way chrysalis?

Thanks for your thoughts. I'm OK, sorry if I gave the wrong impression. I was just sick of the BBC News trying to insult my intelligence ;) and needed to have a rant.

As Suggy says given the ages of the cats, that's really all you could hope for. I know it's very upsetting, just enjoy them. :friends: If they are anything like mine, they were still super characters even in old age.

Best just to turn it off. I've steered clear of any tv today. ;)

Thanks BYM&M's, it's good to know I was missed. :P

went to see my mother in law yesterday which was nice she is so considerate she never smokes in the house when we visit , but yesterday she obviously had not long before we got there...so the usual thing happened, within minutes of getting there my throat started to swell and i got ear ache [ in both ears] so i have been ill since :( i have always suffered from this even out doors in the open air it's the same, i only have to walk past someone smoking and the same thing happens...on top of the bad throat and ears i woke up with a sore chest because of it..........................feeling a bit whingey this moaning...ignore me
