March 17, 200817 yr thanks to SEL4EVER19 on FOMM Mariah was on Ryan's show and lots was talked about. She was there for about 45 minutes. - Second single is not Migrate, its going to be a ballad. :(!! - She will be on American Idol three times and will be performing a ballad. - Talking to Perez Hilton about why he hates Migrate, about her boyfriend Marc, and about the Madonna feud. - Finished sequencing the album last night with LA Reid. - Tour should start around September, wants August, but doesn't think she'll be ready by then. - Didn't seem to happy about her Touch My Body performance on SNL and admitted she was nervous.
March 17, 200817 yr Here's the interview: CLICK She's soo f***ing funny  she gives back as good as she gets to Perez :kink: they get Perez on the phone whilst shes there to ask him why he's being nasty about her -_- I forgot how funny she was :o
March 17, 200817 yr Also, she said shes going to perform a ballad on American Idol, so I take it that'll be the next single, so we will hear the 2nd single very soon :o :w00t: Shes gonna be on American Idol 3 times :o shes mentoring the contestants etc...
March 18, 200817 yr I'm glad she's releasing a ballad as her second single! I just can't wait to listen to it!
March 18, 200817 yr she is funny and likeable when she is being interviewed making jokes and suddenly bursting into song  and saying random stuff. it was interesting hearing about her single choices. i'd go for an uptempo jam for 2nd single and ballad for 3rd but both will be coming so its all good
March 18, 200817 yr Mariah has said that the 2nd single from the album will NOT be Migrate and it will be a ballad, which will be Bye Bye one would assume! :D She said that in her interview with Ryan Seacrest, here are the highlights: • She was nervous during the live performance of "Touch My Body" at Saturday Night Live and wasn't pleased with it. Ryan said he loved it (we loved it too, Mariah!) • She finished sequencing the album last night in L.A. Reid's office. • She misses working with Randy Jackson, whom she says is a great musician and a great guy. • She will be on American Idol three times: April 9th (Idol Gives Back), April 15th (mentoring the contestants) and April 16th (performance). Ryan said she will get to really work with the contestants and Mariah said she was excited about it. • "Migrate" will not be the second single from the album, but rather a ballad. • She said she'll have a tour for the album hopefully in September. She wanted to do it in August but didn't think she'd be ready by then. • Ryan played a clip from his interview with Judd Apatow, writer of "You Don't Mess With The Zohan," in which Judd discussed Mariah's cameo appearance in the film. Mariah mentioned she loved "Knocked Up," enjoyed working with Judd and that she thinks the film will be hilarious. • Ryan put Perez Hilton on the line and Mariah told him she loves him and that the reason she did "Migrate" was because her DJ friends in New York were asking her about it for a long time. She said she usually hates doing songs live for the first time because it's hard to get into them that way and that she will send Perez the real version of the song (don't! send it to us, Mariah!). • Mariah said there is absolutely no drama between her and Madonna nor between her and Janet Jackson. • During the interview, Mariah, who was lots of fun as usual, sang bits from "Touch My Body," "All I Want For Christmas Is You" and even "Rumors" (the song by Timex Social Club).
March 19, 200817 yr http://www.mariahdaily.com/temp/newalbum/emc2cover.jpg Album cover above. Fooking HATE IT. It looks cheap, tacky, the font's are horrible and why is it in that photoshopped weird colour? HIDEOUS. If they're trying to make this project stronger than Mimi than at this point they're failing on all accounts in my opinion. -_-
March 19, 200817 yr Oh and that is taken from the official site too, so it's unfortunately very real. :( :puke:
March 19, 200817 yr its real!? wow.. :( REALLY bad cover! The pic and the e=mc looks alright but that purple font just wrecks it. Edited March 19, 200817 yr by Shaun
March 19, 200817 yr Very Daydream esque cover  I kinda like it. I also loved the Ryan interview. "Good morning this is Mariah Carey and i can speak" <3 "This beverage is rather festive, what is it" "Breast Milk" <3 Festive seems to be her fave new word. Edited March 19, 200817 yr by Ryan
March 19, 200817 yr What a hideous album cover. The more I see it the more I hate it! It's the polar opposite of TEOM, and that's NOT a good thing. -_-
March 19, 200817 yr yes its terrible, its too dark, she's too far away and the font and colours are awful. the white feather thing is a distraction and the expression isn't good either. i think thats it! everything else is ok ^_^ what been happening lately with terrible amateurish covers ie blackout, hard candy and now this.
March 19, 200817 yr I like the picture.... but I don't like the cover... The pic, the font and the colours do not match...... Edited March 19, 200817 yr by Luis_

March 20, 200817 yr I'll only get the Deluxe if it has decent features like the making of TMB's vid or in the studio with Mimi. :P Tracklist looks good. I Stay In Love is a B Cox track (MJB's Be Without You, Stay Down) so will probs be a ballad. ^_^
