i picked "la la love", only because a lot of folk thought that should have been the third single and that it was the one to save the album.

 

ideally, i would have liked "know my name" or maybe even a double a-side..."la la love / know my name".

i remember writing a really long letter (another one, lol) to jamelia's team saying how "la la love" should be the third single, gave reasons why it would have done well, told them how fans shared the same opinion as me, blah, blah, blah and they didn't get back to me (shock). someone said, "i bet they took one look at that letter and threw it in the fire".

 

if they bothered to listen to the fans (who are essentially the people who buy the damn songs!), then we'd have seen jamelia diva have her third top 10 hit from 'walk with me'.

La La Love i love this one of my favourite album tracks ever :wub:

 

Ermmm i think though to have released it she would have had to be huge again like the Thank You era for this to do well, it would be great for a christmas release :wub: what would have been ideal is

 

Summer - May/June - BOTD

Late Summer August/September - SAY/Hustle

October - No More/Got It So Good

Decemeber - La La Love

A video to that would have been great :wub:

'Other' because i wouldve picked Do Me Right, though Know My Name wouldve been an amazing single too.

Its a great song! Was the instant standout for me when i bought the album, its a J classic. Experimental ^_^
hmm....each to their own, i guess :lol: :P
Most of the papers i read reviewing the album commented on Do Me Right bein good cause of the dirty magazine line :lol:
Same :lol: I think they all commented on how experimental the sound of DMR was and that it got the album off to a great start ^_^
I think Do Me Right was more of the TY style
Definitely. I'd like a complete album of uptempo, more furious tracks like BOTD and DMR :P
