Argh, he WAS the best man for the job, wether he be English or Foreign. At the end of the day, come July people won't CARE what nationality the manager is, as long as he is bringing in the trophies. And, as far as I can see, Scolari is the only manager rumoured, to not only have the experience but also have the managing cridentials to take England to that height.

To be quite honest, he wasn't the best man for the job. The two best men were either Hiddink or Wenger. As Wenger is now the only one that's available I hope we get him... ^_^

I think it is just a ploy to squeeze more money out of the FA ;)

 

He was offered £3m a year which is nearly half what Sven was getting, he has achieved twice as much as Sven

 

I bet were Barwick to add another million or two to his offer that Scolari will suffer a bout of amnesia with regards media intrusion :unsure:
