Basically for every post that you reply to in the downloads section you get -2 points [or something like that] as they see it as 'leaching'. But when you start a new thread with a link to download a new song you get +50 points or something. And also in the requests section sometimes people say that they'll donate some points to you if you have the song they want (sm)

 

It took me ages to work it out :( I never actually post new threads, but I sent this lad some Holloways songs once and he donated 5000 points to me LOL. I was well chuffed.
