I've never sat down and worked out how much my car costs meper year. It's ostrich head in the sand stuff because I know I'd be shocked.

If you need it then it's not worth working out....just frightens you.

If I lived in a city I'd consider letting mine go.

It's just getting to see Darius.....I'd have to be sure I could before I gave it up.

Luckily I don't have to make that decision :)

I've only used my car to see Darius in Scotland and I took the train to Edinburgh because parking's a nightmare there.
so if you did get rid of it would you manage to get to see him :o

Of that I'm absolutely certain and I might be able to do it more often if I wasn't running a car too.

I think I am doing too much at the same time,..trying to upload photos, check out google earth, read the forums..and collecting the rubbish from the bedrooms and the washing to be done..LOL

Curse this multi-tasking ability we've got.

Maybe you'd be better taking the male approach and just handle one thing at a time.

:o what sort of dreams?

It could possibly be jealousy...my husband is going to cite Darius and Meg for our divorce....:o

What together, now that would be sick.

We didn't have a car each until we moved here. It's such a pain to get anywhere without the car. Buses are not that regular. There are two but the bus stops are too far apart to be able to catch one if the other doesn't turn up and the train station is a 3 mile walk away. For most other places, we have to go to London first to go by public transport.

What a mind you have.....

Spending more time with and talking to than him....nothing else...

He's told you several times when you've phoned......

I don't remember the details but they are a lot more pleasant than the dreams I have. My hubby intends citing my laptop and the internet in our divorce.

Cars - we live in London and haven't owned a car for about 19 years. I hate driving. It is far too stressful. Too many cars on the road, too many traffic jams and it costs a fortune in petrol and parking.

I used to get that but he's worse than me now....

Has anyone heard from Secret Song recently? Bit worried I haven't seen her around for a while.

Just spoken to her....she's not so fantastic and giving the pc a rest for the time being, putting her energy to other things.

I said I'd keep contact by phone.
