Maybe D could have hidden behind one of those huge leaves - I can't think of the name at the moment.

I know. I was all alone here and then I was all alone there. Somebody's trying to tell me something but I'm too thick skinned or stupid to get it.
They just keep logging me out. I just keep logging back in. You'd think we'd get the message, wouldn't you.

Near Culzean Castle. It was very handy when D played there/

I'm off again. Kids are here and I have to feed them.

Glad she made it ok this time

Are the vids still on .net? It was quite crowded in that trailer, wasn't it? Real cosy and he was so lovely. I'll never forget it .........................nor the rain as we waited for Karl. It was dry for D's performance and the atmosphere was amazing in spite of the very flat warm up supports Jo (S Club) and D-Side? The audience members were putty in his hands halfway through the first song. i think GA did the wrong deal they should have taken the longer set and let D go on last but do the shorter set. They were a real anti-climax.

They saw what happened there and did the same thing at Lincoln with just the same effect. Some people's egos are too big to learn.

I'd forgotten it was you.

Darius makes such a great impression at gigs like those and the racing ones where many of the adults are not his fans but frustratingly, he doesn't stay long enough to string enough gigs together to create a real momentum.

It would need to be very tall. Cocoa palm? Banana tree?

H Pip, he seems quite unshakeable - he doesn't want to gig until he has a bunch of new songs.

Our contention is that a bunch of his old songs are virtually new songs for anyone other than his closest fans and we wouldn't mind a bit hearing any of them and on that basis he should come across and do a longer series of gigs.

We met up with him after the gig at Culzean and he was as lovely as ever. We got security to ask him to come out and he got back to us before they did. It was much appreciated as I told him it wasn't neccessary but he spent as long as we wanted anyway.

On a different subject, I went clothes shopping this morning and bought a pair of brown trousers. I haven't lost weight, I get a little bigger all the time ( and chocolate IS NOT fattening) and the size 14 trousers I bought are really big. I have to either wear a belt or remember to pull them up. I can now see how people of my height and weight in magazines can say they are size 10 or 12. In their dreams. And does it matter anyway as long as what you buy is the size you think they've sized it at.

Some people actually look slimmer in a size bigger because the extra cuddly bits are not all constricted into lumps and bumps.

Sometimes in the same shop I can take 3 different sizes because their garments are sourced from different companies. As far as I'm concerned they're the same size, no matter what it says on the label. Because of the discrepancies, I always try clothes on before I buy them.
