Ye, I often wonder wha they thing when I'm walking around with a huge grin.

Do you get the idea I'm following you dd?

Wll.I'm still here. I'm re reading The Order of the Phoenix at the moment. I wasn't that happy wth the film.
I had to re-read Half Blood Prince before the Deathly Hallows. It was so long since I read it, I couldn't remember what happened. If you read Order of the Phoenix, you'll be even more unhappy with the film.
I could remember it - which is why I felt so unhappy. I thought I'd re read and have my own film of the book in my head. I spent half the time thinking of how much more vivid the new book was to the film I was watching.
yes, good idea to get the book version back in your head.
I was going to see the film because I've seen all the others. I take it you don't recommend it then?
If you've not read the book, you'll love the film. The film was OK but, the book is so large, they've left a lot out. If you've forgotten the book, you may be alright but, I don' tend to do that.

I've never managed to read any of the books but I've seen all of the films so far.

I think I will go to the film and then read the next book in the sequence and then the latest. The two that are completely new to me are supposed to be more grown up than the first one I started reading, which was too much a children's book.

I actually like a lot of kids books. The writers usually have o rely on skill rather than ensation.
I virtually only ever read kids books and there are some great ones on the book shelves (and a lot more piled beside my chair)
I just buy what appeals without worrying who they're aimed at. I'm not keen on the 'True Love' kind of thing because they really are more fanstasy then anything else.

It's good to see children desperate to read a book, despite all their games, dvds ,computers and so on. My nephew loved the "Horrible/ Gruesome" series. I don't think he realised quite how much he was learning through them.

My own reading tastes are quite eclectic.

The trouble is, I get lost in a book. The world stops. I have to be so careful I don't forget anybody
